Astiga had perfect synergy with them, loading and caching any tracks I want and following the actual folder structure to a T. Dream come true to have my personal music database at my fingertips anywhere.

Your personal music streamer
Date: Feb 24 2024SummaryI moved away from commercial services and maintain my own collection, it's wonderful. I can customise the look of the app and playlists. I'm not worried about music being taken off by rights restrictions or commercial changes.
PositiveAbility to play my own large collection of music across different genres in perfect quality, where ever I am. I can play online or cache for offline. The music can be tagged and added to easily.
NegativeI'm enthused, I like it all. I do not have any issues.

Great music streaming software
Date: Mar 30 2024SummaryI wish more software was like this- Astiga does one thing (streaming your own music) amazingly for a pretty affordable flat rate. No ads, no tiers, no secret extra revenue model.
Positive- Responsive, fast, and easy to use web app
- Syncs with pretty much whatever cloud provider you use
- Simple, pay for service model (no ads or trying to sway your behavior)Negative- Android app isn't great (there are alternative apps that work with Astiga)

- You'll need to host and purchase music separately (although that's kind of the point) -

My HUGE library is so organized now!
Date: Mar 07 2024SummaryLove this app and the way it interfaces with my personal library of music. I have thousands of hours of opera -- and a lot of it is not available anywhere else (because it is personal bootlegs). I needed a way to organize by genre, by album, by singer, and by composer, and then stream from my desktop browser at work and from my phone. Astiga checks all the boxes.
PositiveI've got thousands of hours of operas, and needed a way to organize them in meaningful categories and find things quickly, then stream them from anywhere. Astiga does that.
NegativeNeed better way to add music in a long queue to another playlist. Also a few tweaks to the interface would be nice.
