For computer dummies we are, i think we have been able to do a good job already thanks to Bookinglayer.

Our business is unique as we offer each guest the arrival night for free so it isn't changed. We also have packages and a few other items we need to customize which is great with this system.
The Bookinglayer support is excellent and the online help engine is very complete.PositiveWe like that we can customize it to suit our business. The an easy system to use, and it's fast and excellent uptime. The maintenance is great and the communication with us is the best we have experienced. We have been in business since 2008 and this is without a doubt the best booking system we have used.
NegativeTo be able to extend a guest's stay after they have paid a deposit. Once the system issues a guest invoice, changing dates, unless the stay length is the same, is an issue for us as we often have guests not being about to get flights and have to extend or shorten their stay. In this case, we have to cancel and rebook the whole stay. It doesn't happen often but it's something that gets a little annoying at times.

I run everything super easily and smoothly, from packages to rentals and other services. Everything can be visualised clearly and organised with our teams. They also integrated a channel manager to their system. Tutorials will help on every aspect to set it up. On top of that, the team is very friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend them!

My experience with Bookinglayer
Date: Nov 21 2023SummaryIn general the program has satisfied my needs as a sales manager and operationally, since I had the induction with Diego Alvarado, an excellent person by the way, it has been very easy to teach the receptionists the use of the program.
The only thing that gets a little tedious is the configuration of seasonal prices and discounts, it is a bit complex and you have to be careful. However, the rest is quite user friendly.
The customer service is very good, they are always attentive to help and in general it is a super useful tool for those who are starting the hosting sector and for those who already have many years of working this we will agree that it is a tool that facilitates the management of the day to day.PositiveAfter having worked with three different PMS, without a doubt Bookinglayer has very useful facilities in the booking business, since it facilitates everything from communication to the management of collections and payments.
Its calendar is dynamic and you know you can easily locate with your day to day, the connection between the sales channels and the implementation of the channel manager make you have everything at hand without the need to configure or review another additional program.
From my experience I can say that it is the most complete hotel management and administration program I have ever used.
And even though the time difference in Costa Rica with the Bookinglayer staff and big, whenever I needed help they were quick to help me, but in reality the program is designed so that you can do most of the work yourself.NegativeThe only thing I could suggest to improve is the handling of customer data with the credit card, as a means of guarantee to make effective the cancellation policies and damages, however you manage with the web check in in the files you ask customers.

I would also suggest and it would be very useful to have a mobile version, that way as an administrator or manager you can manage a reservation wherever you are, without depending on the computer.
An App would be great, where you can assign visual roles for maintenance and cleaning workers. -
