What is ChristianWorldMedia (CWM)?

A specialized streaming and video hosting platform tailored for churches enables you to transmit live services while also distributing the stream to multiple media outlets and RTMP services, including your own website and ours. You can effortlessly share your live broadcasts on popular platforms like Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and Periscope/Twitter, as well as with any service that supports RTMP feeds. In addition to showcasing your live stream and recorded sermons on your own website, we provide dedicated hosting pages on CWM to enhance your online presence. To make integration seamless, we offer user-friendly embed codes; should you face any challenges, our support team is always available to help. Keeping your website updated with new content can feel daunting, particularly if you haven't built a site yet. Our hosting solutions guarantee that your live streams and church videos remain fresh and visually appealing across all devices and browsers. Furthermore, your videos will be systematically organized and easily searchable based on criteria such as category, date, title, speaker name, or relevant keywords in the description, simplifying the process for your congregation to find exactly what they are looking for. With our comprehensive services, you can dedicate more time to your ministry while leaving the technical streaming concerns to us, allowing for a more focused and impactful outreach. This way, your church can thrive in the digital age without the stress of managing technology.

    Long Term Customer

    Date: Jan 29 2025
    Summary

We are pleased with the streaming services overall and looks to ongoing improvements. Easy access to application to manage content and streams online or with mobile devices.

    Positive

Streaming Service to our own Roku channel as well as Pod Cast channel for Zion Hill Church Family. Archive of videos are shared with the public. Ability to embed into our website as well as a streaming webpage on Christian World Media Websites including links to social media and external websites from the provided webpage or the player.

    Negative

Error message streaming to other platforms (..Meta, etc. on startup). YouTube requires unique naming convention for each streaming service/video. It would be great if Christian World Media could initiate the naming, so we don't have to every stream.

    No support for broadcasters

    Date: Oct 31 2024
    Summary

Support is non-existent. We are exploring moving to another platform that can provide a Roku integration.

    Positive

Relatively simple platform. It has an option for a Roku channel. We chose it during COVID because of the ease of getting started.

    Negative

CWM has stopped taking telephone calls and are referring all requests to an online form. We submitted a request three weeks ago and have not yet received any response, despite several follow-up calls to them.
