Doesnt work in a virtualbox VM with Windows 7

    Date: Apr 04 2023
    Summary

Not able to use it in the desired environment. :(
    Windows 7 x64 homeplus
    8.942GB ram
    3 CPU cores assigned

    Positive

Looks like a nice program from what I could see of it.
I would give it a much better rating if it worked in a virtual machine.

    Negative

When I try to make a new schematic or PCB drawing I always get this error:
HRESULT: [0x887A0004], Module: [SharpDX.DXGI], ApiCode: [DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED/Unsupported], Message: Unknown at 30945C72.
    AdvSch.dll, Base Address: 2F6A0000.

CircuitMaker first time in use for PCB manufacturing

    Date: Jan 23 2023
    Summary

I am very pleased and is the program I use at work even if i don't design more then 2-3 PCBs in 1-2 months.

    Positive

Well as a first time use i started to use EasyEDA which didn't work for me at all. Hard to use program for a user seeing the program the first time. Also tried other options and programs like Altium Designer and i didn't make it work so this program CircuitMaker as a first time user has all the pros EasyEDA to use free and gets the job done. As i went to the manufacturer export files worked so no problems there.

    Negative

The only thing i have to add here is the parts database is a bit low for now.
