Clemta review
Date: Nov 14 2024SummaryNo matter how professional they appear or what promises they make, this company is designed to take your money through endless fees and unnecessary complications. Here’s my true story:
I hired them to register a trademark for the name "Abnili." I paid all the required fees and provided the necessary information. However, after a long wait, they informed me that they had registered the trademark as "A Since 2023 Abnili"—a name modification I never requested. This small change seemed deliberate, setting the stage for additional charges later on.
When the trademark examiner flagged "A Since 2023" as non-compliant, the company reached out, asking me to pay an extra $280 to respond to the examiner. I was confused because I had already paid over $1,000 in total fees. Why should I pay again for an issue they created?!!!. They claimed the additional fee was necessary for their effort to handle the response. After lengthy negotiations, they assured me there would be no further charges and eventually submitted a response to disclaim "A Since 2023."
Months went by without progress, and then they contacted me requesting product samples. I provided numerous images of my product, but they claimed they couldn’t see the "A Since 2023" in my logo, which was actually in a microscopic size. They then gave me two options: either travel to the USA to provide physical samples or have them submit the images I had already sent.
I chose to have them submit the images I provided. However, after several months, just one day before the submission deadline, they contacted me again, asking whether I wanted to send physical samples or have them use the existing images. I insisted they submit the images I had already provided. The next day, they informed me that they had missed the deadline and now demanded an additional $600 to extend it and submit new samples; again I pay again for an issue they created.
This company exploits every opportunity to charge extra fees and complicate the trademark registration process. This is my true experience—stay cautious and avoid this scam company!PositiveProfessional appearance initially, seemed knowledgeable, responsive at the beginning of the process.
NegativeConstant additional fees, unnecessary delays, created issues to charge more, poor communication, untrustworthy.
