Finally Made My Payment Gateway API Pick
Date: Oct 16 2020SummaryStreamlined, easy to integrate and use. For me, the people behind the company however are the main asset. I never got anything but respect, patience and good advice while interacting with staff.
PositiveI tend to go overboard with research and agonize for months about what to choose. This payment gateway has been a pretty easy call once I came across it. Best in class user interface. Walks a fine line between complexity and common sense ease of use. Choose any processor is huge. Hate to be locked into one processor, as it gives me no negotiating power. Store and Forward offline processing has been a life saver.
NegativeI would remove some fields from the setup screens. Not sure if the extra info is useful, although maybe I have not discovered some long term benefit.

Cloud9 is fabulous!
Date: Oct 19 2020SummaryMy overall experience with the service has been a very good one. I would recommend Cloud9 to anyone that is looking for a way to except credit card payments or ACH payments.
PositiveThe payment portal that allows our clients to setup a user login and save credit card info and bank for ACH transactions.
Sends an email to let you know a payment was made and can send to more than one email address.
You can send a link via email to clients so they can pay you without going to a website first.
Show a member number, invoice number, PO number or all three on the settlement screen... love this, makes it fast to know what payment went with whom.
Good Customer support. Always adding new features.NegativeNot sure I can think of a con just now. I have been using for over 2 years and it works great. The team is fast to help if I have any questions.

Date: Oct 02 2020SummaryYou couldn’t ask for an Better turnkey Solution for processing Overall It’s a nice solution if you’re looking for integration to card processing But not restricted to One processor Since it’s a gateway
PositiveCloud nine software has been great, integration was easy with their documentation online. They kept my software up-to-date with the new credit card processing standards.
NegativeI can’t find really any cons with the software the guys would even answer the phone on the weekends when I have had problems very helpful with making the change to my software

Cloud 9 Advantages
Updated: Oct 10 2020SummaryIf you are like me, integrate with a custom SOLUTION either online/offline, you can rely on the CLOUD 9, a seamless integration experience. Sorry I can't tell you if you are looking for Hosted Payment Page. I just didn't try it. But with all the web base HTML template builder, I will try it soon if my clients request template site (i.e. Wix, WordPress), I will build something with their HPP.
PositivePOS or Web Based, this is the best API and easiest API integration I've ever worked on. 1) For the same platform development, I am using the same code for both card present/not present environment, just use a different endpoint. 2) Using Restful API (I just prefer it over the older XML) 3) Can't skip this, they are HONEST people. 4) Tech support, during the integration period, I've been heavily relied on their Support, turnaround time always less than 2 hours. Love it.
NegativeI didn't yet go thru their online platform and check out all the features. Can't really complains on anything, BUT not sure if you like the facts that the authentication (id & password) on the REST api is build in the POST data. unlike some other guy who required heavily encryption base + timeout on concatenated fields (e.g. total+timestamp+key+whatever...) They seem a little too easy.
