Daedalus keeps an independent auto repair shop on one record — repair orders, estimates, customer approvals, invoicing, payments and scheduling in one place.

The difference shows at the counter. A service writer gives the assistant a rough note like "stalls at idle, new coil and plugs, 1.2 hr" and it works out which piece is which, and what to charge for it, returning a draft to approve or change. A person signs off before anything is written to a record.

Customers follow the job, approve estimates and pay through a portal carrying the shop's own branding. Questions there are answered without tying up the counter, and go to a person when the assistant can't help.

Shop data exports in full at any time.
