Overall I do love the 2020 Design and enjoy doing all of the layouts for our company. Just wish the renderings didn't take so long to render when capturing a picture.

I love that there are a lot of designs to add to the layouts. Wondering if there are extra catalogs that can be downloaded to enhance that.

I am not happy with how the lighting renders. It is a pain to have to draw other walls and add windows in them just so the image is not dark.

We love 2020! When we help them find bugs they are good at taking notes and trying to fix them in the future. Customer service is great!

It has grown as a program and it is the best for other catalogs that we use. Customer service is great!

Doesn't show detail on Shiloh doors like old-world textures which is huge!
Sometimes there are bugs. Need better hours for customer service. We work a lot after hours.

Overall, I like 2020 and would like to see some easy memory features, for example an appliance package of the same dishwasher, fridge and undermount sink and faucet - kitchen set. The reason is the time for the most used items at my fingertips for quick access.

I like the program itself; I like the precise measure and functionality of the software. The catalogs, cloud browser, lighting, and custom elevations are great features.

The updates seem to lose my settings and backgrounds I have set up and it is a bit inconvenient to have to go through the process each time to reset them.
Some updates have slowed down and added steps to the process.
For example: I used to be able to grab a cabinet with a click and move it, now I have to right click to a drop-down menu and choose move to make a simple adjustment. It's tedious and more time consuming.

I love 2020 Design Live-- makes my job easier and overall better! I sell a lot more kitchens and baths because of the detail and ease that I can draw.

Most bugs and glitches have been fixed.
I love the lighting options and settings.
Overall pro-- keep the cloud items coming.

Still has some errors pop up.
Cloud items are limited.
Sketch up items do not always work and it is difficult to log in to.

Very good program and easy to use. The tutorials area great and very easy to follow. I would be able to recommend this without any hesitation.

Being new and having come from using Auto CADD, 2020 for Commercial Furniture and other drawing programs, this one seems to be the most user friendly.

Since I am just starting to use the program. I do not know what and what cannot be done.

With my years of experience with 2020, I have been pleased with the rendering quality and the pricing/ordering functions. This saves me a lot of time and shows professional results for me and my clients.

I've used 2020 drafting software for over 12 years and am very pleased with the results and quality. There are seminars and tutorials to walk you through the different functions. The 3D renderings are very helpful to show clients how the plan will feel. I also love that the plans are helpful in my communications with contractors. With so many products and materials to upload, it is also helpful that most of these can be customized for the most accurate renderings. The pricing and ordering functions have streamlined my cabinet ordering process.

I'm sometimes frustrated with the online catalog in the cloud browser. Many of the items can't be customized since they are the exact product from the manufacturer. It would be helpful if once the item is added to a design, it would become a saved part of it. If I'm out of range for internet connection, those items have issue loading.

Just like all things in life, once you know how to do something the following times it gets done is much easier.

It has a lot of bells and whistles, it has a lot of things that can be useful to design the spaces.

Training is too expensive, almost all things to make the design better is an up sale, the software is already expensive enough.

Best platform out there for semi-custom and stock cabinets. It gives you several areas to visual the drawings, 2d, 3d, virtual (I haven't tried yet) this give the client so many options. It makes it easier to sell jobs.

Quality of the renderings. Ability to use multiple catalogs at one time. It is the one program that gives you the ability to use across multiple platforms of business. It integrates the use of Sketchup to add the nice little touched many clients need to be able to visualize the space.

It can sometimes be difficult to figure out issues with the help menu. It isn't as user friendly as the design program.

Still a new user, learn something new everyday and I imagine it will be like that for a while. It is very helpful when calling support they take control of your computer, I watch them work and learn a lot!

Ease of placing cabinets and changing cabinet color style. Be sure you have the correct specs for your computer - will make your life much easier!

Adjusting lighting in a room, dragging items just a touch.

Overall, I've really enjoyed learning how to use this program and I look forward to becoming more efficient with 2020 Design!

I am brand new to interior design. I have learned a lot through this program. I've really enjoyed playing around with 2020 Design and being able to help my coworker come up with my first few designs for clients. I love that there is a training video section. It has been very beneficial for me.

The only thing I have had troubles with is that the program tends to freeze up on me and kick me out. It may just be my computer but I'm unsure at the time. It gets frustrating, so I tend to save my designs multiple times because the program locks up on me so many times throughout the day.

I am a cabinet representative and I find that having and using the tool helps me to better assist my customers as they design with my many cabinet brands.

The advancements over time have kept up with customer expectations. I like most of the rendering options.

Some dealers who have limited or no internet access are being forced to find another design/quote tool.

I came out of this with so much confidence on using the 20/20 program, I did take the beginner course over 15 years back and have struggled to make my designs look professional! Now I do! Thank you all.

It was so extremely hands on and so many tips! Our instructor was very patient and knowledgeable. The length of the day was exactly correct and also the size of the class worked great! I came out knowing so much more and the tricks and tips we learned will go far in not only making my designs stunning and professional but also great selling tool as well! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for it!

Overall, 2020 is great for putting together quick models of K&Bs and providing fast turn-arounds on cabinet estimates. It should be paired with another software if the goal is total interior design due to how slow the program becomes once you begin to add light fixtures, sink & faucets, etc.

- Quick pricing & access to more catalogs of real products (cabinets, appliances, etc.) than other programs
- Color renderings & texture matching better than expected
- Easy to pick up; about 1 month before I felt proficient in 2020

- Software begins to lag/flicker when too much put into one file
- Export to PDF; can't mix & match where pages go

I enjoy working with 2020 Design Live and for the most part it makes my job easier and much more enjoyable.

2020 Design Live gives me the ability to provide my customers with a realistic rendering of what they can expect when the company I work for installs our product.

I would really enjoy being able to set a default countertop color. The lighting is a bit tricky to work with sometimes, and The Countertop Wizard is difficult to use and causes the program to crash if you try to modify a counter.

Overall, 2020 is a good program. It's easy, especially for a company like us that puts out a high volume. Efficiency is key. I do like how you can integrate SketchUp and the cloud catalogs are a nice feature. But sometimes renderings can be a little funky and presenting them to clients that are paying premium prices for upper tier cabinetry can be off putting. But, I would recommend 2020 for anyone starting out because of its ease of use.

2020 is easy for anyone to pick up and use with a little bit of training, the catalog compatibility with our vendors is nice, and pricing material is easy. Overall, I am happy with using this program for our needs.

My biggest issues with 2020 are the renderings. For a lost of our cabinet lines the rendering finishes are way off and it's difficult to present this to customers especially ones that are virtual only. This can also be said for lighting in the renderings - tweaking it is glitchy and can make the renderings look unnatural.

2020 has one of the best programs for design. The ease of learning the program is great. I enjoy using the program for any and all projects design.

Clear and up to date renderings. The product delivers great renderings which help the customer create selling designs to help visualize their space.

Catalogs not included in the cloud that are pertinent to design.

Overall a very good program. I am able to design and show intricate details and give more accurate renditions to my customers as well as the installers who will be installing the kitchen I design.

I like the amount and variety of appliances available on the cloud.
I don't normally do too many color renditions because of my work load doesn't permit me the time, but when I do, I like the ease of adjustment to lighting and color.

This program crashes often without warning forcing me to save often. The problem is when I hit save, it takes pretty long to save which wastes my time. The previous versions without the cloud were able to save almost instantly.

I have been working with 2020 since the very beginning and I have to say that the LIVE is not a benefit, I liked the proficiency of the old key. Sign in was never a problem.

Pricing kitchens and viewing options for clients are the best assets of 2020.
Also ordering in multiple colors is best in 2020, it is hard to make a mistake.
Ordering is also easy transferring to order processing.

My computer is fully capable and the storage is not full, I have IT and 20-20 always confirm it is up to date. It always crashes and won't let me sign back in.
Sometimes I am so frustrated I walk away and don't get pending work done.
Other times I call and get assistance from 2020, but I hate to do that because I have to reset all of my settings including taxes.
