Convenient and Hassle-free Onboarding
Date: Nov 18 2024SummaryThe setup and onboarding phase was really quick as my company has a small in-house delivery fleet. The vehicles were added with just a download of the app and scanning of the QR code/input of Detrack ID which was quick and simple. Start and end depots, locations, working hours, maximum capacity etc. were saved. Delivery Jobs were imported using an excel template and routes were optimized easily with multiple route optimization. However as our delivery staff were accustomed to certain areas in Singapore, we requested for a feature update of a visual representation of unassigned jobs on the map where our planner can select and assign jobs from there. Detrack took about a week or so to launch a working Beta feature and it works well. Currently trying to work with integration with our e-commerce website to push delivery info straight into Detrack to eliminate manual input.
PositiveOnboarding and setup was quick and easy. Dashboard is easy to navigate and understand. POD functions are simple and straightforward to use and provides live feedback/notifications to the receiver/dispatcher. Support staff is very helpful in answering enquiries as well as responding to feedbacks and feature improvements. Route optimization is decent with single and multiple routes options. Integration with e-commerce websites through available API connector cuts down manual data entry.

Transport team have an accurate overview of where drivers are and can quickly update them with any changes to jobs they're currently allocated.

Being able to update our drivers with information whilst they're out on the go from one centralised platform is brilliant. Easy to use All in One Route Optimization

PositiveGood user interface on both Detrack and Elastic Route. The use of colours in Elastic Route made it easy to identify the routes of each vehicle. Manual transferring of jobs between drivers and runs is also a breeze. The feature is Detrack as a proof of delivery are very well thought through - signature, photo, QR code, bar code, they're all available.
NegativeOptimization is not as good. When time limit are used, more vehicles than necessary are assigned, making it necessary to adjust routes every time.
