OK for labels - not for rates - HORRIBLE SUPPORT

    Date: Mar 13 2021
    Summary

Overall you should keep looking. Yes you can print labels nut not get rates. And while could use some other web service for rates - here's why you really don't want to do this:

THEIR SUPPORT IS HORRIBLE!!! When I asked how they suggest I handle getting multiple rates they first suggested I hard-code rates and then some crazy idea of having my users "CLICK HERE TO VISIT USPS.COM TO RESEARCH RATES" via a link in my app. (really?)

When I said both of those were horrible ideas, they told me "we are not a free design consulting service, sir" The arrogance combined with incompetency boggles the mind. Not only were both of those suggestions horrible ideas - neither actually answered my original question anyway. So rather than admit "it can't be done with our system" they attack you with some insulting accusation like "we know how...but we're too good to waste our time telling you"

So seeking support on how to use their piece of junk API will just waste your time and insult you.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - you have been warned!!!

    Positive

Easy to print USPS or Federal Express or UPS shipping labels and the price is right. But trust me, not enough. Read on...

    Negative

API design flaw means you can only get 1 rate at a time. So if you want to present a choice of rates to the user you need to make multiple requests. But their system will automatically lock you out if you make too many requests. Leaving you begging hat in hand to reactivated.
