What is EdPay?

EdPay is designed with ease of use in mind, aiming to reduce mistakes while ensuring accurate data entry. The implementation of EdPay features has been carefully phased, allowing for thorough development and testing of each function before making it available. Moreover, EdPay significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of payroll processing for educational organizations, increases automation, and addresses many issues that payroll administrators face, especially those related to tedious manual documentation. Our initial testing phase for EdPay began in March 2019, involving payroll administrators and principals from 11 schools, which expanded to 15 schools in May and jumped to 200 by July. After receiving encouraging feedback, we extended the platform to an additional 1,000 schools in September 2019, completing the rollout to all remaining schools by the end of that year. Currently, EdPay has entirely taken the place of Novopay Online and includes almost all the capabilities of the previous forms-based system, with additional features being developed and tested over time. This transition not only signifies a major leap forward in payroll management for educational institutions but also enhances the overall efficiency of operations that were previously seen as burdensome and protracted. As a result, educators and administrative staff can now dedicate more time to their core responsibilities, ultimately benefiting the entire educational community.
