What is FairEmail?
FairEmail is user-friendly and works seamlessly with a wide range of email providers, including Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo! If safeguarding your privacy is of utmost importance to you, this email client might be an ideal option. To utilize its various features, you must sign in with your own email account. Furthermore, it operates a foreground service that includes a low-priority notification, ensuring you won't miss any new messages. In summary, FairEmail is dedicated to providing a streamlined and efficient email experience that caters to privacy-conscious users. With its focus on simplicity and functionality, it stands out among email clients in today's market.

Great Email Client
Date: Jan 17 2022SummaryI would recommend giving this application a try to see if you enjoy it. Even without any pro features the app is still quite impressive. Read the documentation if the technical stuff is not understood but the setup wizard makes it a simple process to be reading your email in short time.
PositiveThe ease of setup, configuration, and multitude of settings along with IMHO a good design makes it a joy to use. In addition the Pro Features are given with just a little donation, just under $8 at the time of this writing. It works with your own custom email and Gmail, although I keep Gmail separate from FairEmail as Google does a fine job as well. Documentation is extensive which is always a welcoming fact. RTFM.
NegativeMany ways to install, Play store, f-droid, GitHub builds, etc. Though this is not unique when trying to get the Pro Features to work after a reinstallation it can prove annoying. One of the pros was many options/settings, but on occasion this is a con too... either conflicts or not being able to find what you need.
