It's a secure and easy-to-set-up storage for small and mid-size Businesses. The automation feature like the creation of folders and copying of files works great. Allows file sharing with temporarily accessible links. Integrated with Backblaze and Azure Blob storage. Files don't get corrupted.

The user interface needs to be more user-friendly.

Assigning temporary folder access via web portal link is very helpful for quick, secure transfers. Prices recently went up. But, it is still an affordable solution.

Good support, intuitive web interface, quick storage, secure cloud storage. Very customizable and can be used in all types of scenarios for file transfers.

Some historical reports can only be attained by calling support. For example, list of connections from users using unsecure cyphers or old versions of TLS.

The overall experience has been good. It's a robust service with good support, always receiving updates and new, interesting features.

The service has been very reliable for quite some time now, and we love the ease of use of the web UI to administer the site. There are plenty of options, some of which are very advanced and even with that, it doesn't feel overwhelming for the less tech savvy users.
Documentation is also good, which helps to understand all the features that Files.com offers.

History for the connections made from a user needs more details and a dedicated interface or download ability to be able to filter, etc.

Overall, I think this is the best sftp file server I have used. It is extremely useful for working with external partners and vendors to exchange data.

The UI is nice so that non-technical users can use it, compared with S3. There are also other useful features, such as file expiration and encryption. The support is also very helpful.

The desktop app is a bit slow. Also, it is difficult to get alerts for failed logins.

It provides all the features I need, and then some. It is very easy to setup, and if all you need is simple SFTP between you and your customers, it is almost a no-effort setup. However, with only a slight amount of effort, you have an incredibly powerful tool at your fingertips.

Files.com provides a significant number of integrations that allow for pretty complex workflows. Yet, in doing that, it does not lose sight of the need for simple file transfers, and provides a rock-solid platform.

On the rare occasion that there are issues, the logs available to the customer are not that deep.

Overall Files.com is hitting it out of the park on all counts ease of use, managing, etc... I don't say this about a lot of systems. They have it setup so that almost anyone can manage and use with little to no technical abilities... This is coming from a 30+ year veteran of IT.

The system is easy to manage and us, I have managed a lot of systems over the past 30+ years in IT and I have found that it is one of the best that I have ever had the pleasure to support for all my end users.

I can't really say there are any Cons with this system.
