What is FlipaClip?

The inventive drive of the creators was constantly in pursuit of new challenges, which ultimately resulted in the birth of FlipaClip. Fueled by a flicker of inspiration, they were resolute in their quest to transform their vision into reality. During this period, Samsung launched a competition to highlight the features of the new Galaxy Note, presenting the ideal chance for the brothers to team up on a project that resonated with their childhood interests. In just a month, they sketched their concepts and rolled out the app's initial version! As users started to interact with FlipaClip, they quickly recognized its intuitive interface, which caused the community to thrive in unforeseen ways. Much to their astonishment, the app garnered attention from a vast array of creatives and influencers worldwide, all enthusiastic about drawing, animating, and presenting their distinctive works. This lively community has evolved into a sanctuary for individuals ranging from beginners to experienced artists, enabling them to articulate and share their imaginative concepts. Moreover, an interesting tidbit is that the default animation featuring a leaping squirrel was created by a police officer during his off hours, underscoring the idea that creativity transcends all limits and that anyone can create something extraordinary, regardless of their background. This welcoming approach to all types of creators has significantly enriched the diverse talent pool within the FlipaClip community, fostering collaboration and innovation among its members.

Fun for an intro on how to animate

    Date: Mar 04 2022
    Summary

I really like this program as a beginner/intro to animation. It was really nice to be able to see everything come together at the end.

    Positive

I used FlipaClip to start small animations of things my fiance said and I thought were funny. I knew nothing about animating, but I really did like learning pretty quickly how to make small short animations. Very intuitive and straight forward.

    Negative

Sometimes it is hard to go back and edit previous clips. But it isn't too hard once you get it down.

    Excellent animation tool for mobile

    Date: Aug 14 2021
    Summary

For someone who does not know animation, this is an undaunting first step to take. Without handholding it introduces you to what simple animating starts with.

    Positive

Lots of options for free users. Allows for animation from very simple to more complex. Can add your own audio and video to the animations.

    Negative

Heavy push to purchase premium features. Purchasing all the premium features does not include any premium audio packages, which will still run you another $8.
