    This is very helpful software. In this situation, when you’re still in search of the perfect strategy and trading instruments. Just find smth new, quickly test it, review analytics - they give quite helpful tips on strategy improvement btw - optimize and voila I’m ready for a real market. By the way, not difficult to use this backtesting. Spent only one week to customize it for my convenience.

    I like the possibility of backtesting different assets simultaneously on one window. It really saves time. The interface is close to tradingview, but has more features. So like win win imho

    Cost might be a problem in the start especially. Their free version is limited… I mean if you still don’t want to engage in trading much, it might be a problem to pay 250 bucks.

    I have been around backtesting for a long time now. First, i started to backtest on a tradingview platform, but very quickly realized that it just doesn’t provide many chart data and feels kinda robotic, no real environment. When i started to search in youtube, i saw the comparison of different platforms, and caught the eye for forex tester. As i mentioned before, pretty comfortable platform to make the analysis, but what matters the most is realistic trading environment. Like i could rewind the charts back 5 years from today, and start trading. One day, i took over 30 trades by my strategy, and started to understand it way better how to use it in certain situations.     Idk, didn’t find any big drawbacks with FTO. I feel like they mastered their services at this point, can’t really ask for more considering the price and the functionality they give...
