What is GG4L Connect?

GG4L Connect operates on a model driven by user consent, which gives the school's Data Administrator total control over the invitation and approval process for any vendor that seeks access to specific or all stored SIS data. Built on the Amazon AWS Cloud Infrastructure, the platform boasts strong 256-bit encryption for data at rest and has been subject to extensive audits to protect against penetration attacks and vulnerabilities. It complies with open API standards for seamless data interoperability, supporting both IMS OneRoster and A4L xPress Roster frameworks. Additionally, GG4L Connect integrates with ed-fi's extensive education enterprise data model, enhancing interoperability to include not just traditional SIS Roster Data but also Guardian Contacts, Attendance, Grades, Assessments, and Medical information, among other types. With a global infrastructure in place, GG4L Connect is capable of efficiently on-boarding data from educational institutions all around the world. Moreover, we offer EdTech Vendors the chance to invite an unlimited number of school clients to join GG4L at no expense, promoting an inclusive approach to educational technology access. This dedication to making data management and interoperability practices more effective ensures that educational institutions can fully leverage their data capabilities for improved outcomes.
