So far the service offered by Gumlet works very well, it's easy to setup, simple to implement (API version) and documentation is clear. It offers all modifications which we need so that's great. Pricing is very competitive as well.

Gumlet is an easy to use and easy to setup tool to deliver optimized images. The feature I like most is the ability to modify images on the fly, e.g. resize and crop to create consistent thumbnails.

The maximum value for height (and width) is 8192. It would be great if this limit was raised as occasional we have higher images.

I am more than happy with this service I use, this and shortpixel on different sites and they compare well, I am always chasing the speed.

I don't have any cons although at the current pricing I may use an alternative particularly when there is a $5 per domain cost for C names but my legacy plan is exceptional value.

Possible to connect only Gumlet CDN and Cloudfront. there is not an easy way to connect others CDN providers.
Price is higher compared to other CDN like BunnyCDN. But here you get an all in one solution to automatically optimize images.

I got to know Gumlet when I was looking for a photo compression app but still kept the quality. With Wordpress, there are many plugins that can do this, but the image quality is reduced after compression or it is extremely expensive, some services are quite expensive and the number of images allowed to be compressed is very limited, while an image uploaded to wordpress can generate dozens of different sizes on its own.
That's why I have to choose an appropriate image compression application, in addition to good quality it should also have a CDN. We are in the era of global business, the website load through CDN is essential if you want everyone in the world can access your website quickly.

It was great that I found Gumlet. I wasn't sure at first, but they allowed the trial to try 1GB of bandwidth and it was amazing that I was completely conquered.

- Allow CDNs for both JS / CSS / Fonts through Cloudfront (this is an extremely good feature because I do not have to spend additional CDN costs for a 3rd service anymore, I can also immediately turn off the free package of Cloudflare (because to me Amazon Cloudfront is much better)
- Multi-platform support (they have their own API to deploy on your source code, I'm also integrating it on my website)
I recently learned that they have implemented a new CNAME feature that can help you create your own CDN sub domain name like cdn.yourdomain.com. This is great for saving and also making your website image more professional, or cooler.

I am still completely satisfied with Gumlet and feel that I don't have any weaknesses (or maybe I haven't realized it yet). Sometimes they will be able to answer support a little longer but that doesn't matter because all my questions are solved.

Great product overall. Speed is a must need for good SEO and user experience for my websites and Gumlet really delivers. This is one the best recent investments for website optimization.

Support could be a bit more prompt. There is not much negative I could say about Gumlet, maybe options for images level of compression.

Image optimization with resized/adaptive images is its biggest selling points, which result in faster loading web pages which of course is important.

Cloudfront CDN sounds great but only business users get CNAME support.

Custom domain costs extra and the Gumlet subdomain is far from ideal from a branding perspective. Custom domain should be included in the cost.

Sometimes its have problem with my WooCommerce front picture images, but now seems the team have repaired the problem.

The service is easy to use and for it's complexity there is enough documentation too. It's a well thought through service which is new but in it's core already pretty matured.
If they keep up their recently rapid pace, I have high hopes for the future.

It works and I like the concept of lazy load combined with exactly the size needed. I also like the many API-parameters you can use to size, crop, watermark, color-manipulate, ... the image.
They evolve rapidly and listen to the request of their customers.

The CDN worked reliable and fast as they used the Amazon CDN, but I have concerns about the future, as they switch now to their own CDN, which has only some nodes. But time will tell.
The rather new WordPress-Plugin needs still some work, but it's going into the right direction. Some things like css background-images were added just recently and do not work in all situation.

I like the plugin as it gives results in regard to making WordPress sites faster, so thumbs up from me.

I have Gumlet on a couple of websites and I notice significant improvements in the speed. Gumlet is easy to implement and the support is responsive. If you want to improve your website loading time, Gumlet is a great option.

Nothing, I can't think of any cons. It is straight forward to use it as a CDN and image delivery service.

The revolution slider plugin had compatibility issues.

I have tried and have been using several other image processing services. However, nothing has even come close to the simplicity of Gumlet.

In fact, I tried one of their competitors recently (with ~25 times the free limit). However, ended up coming back to Gumlet. It just works.

Not happy with the recent increase in pricing, of course :). But overall a great service.
