What is Huxly?

Huxly brings app creation, preview, backend setup, and store delivery into one workflow. A founder can describe screens and behavior in chat; a designer can import a Figma frame; a developer can start from a template and edit code. The result is a real Expo (React Native), Flutter, or SwiftUI project whose source can be exported or pushed to GitHub. Expo and Flutter target iOS and Android, while SwiftUI targets iOS. Changes appear in a browser preview, with a streamed iPhone simulator for SwiftUI projects.

The platform connects Supabase and Firebase for app data and authentication. It can generate server-side APIs or edge functions for webhooks and payments, deploy a backend to the user's Netlify, Render, or Railway account, and keep sensitive keys server-side. RevenueCat helps implement in-app subscriptions; Stripe supports suitable payment flows through a backend. Huxly supports signed app builds, TestFlight betas, and App Store and Google Play submission. Through its MCP connector, compatible AI assistants can work on project files, builds, logs, and previews using the user's own AI plan.

    Summary

    Huxly gives me the infrastructure to build and ship a mobile app, not just generate code. The MCP connection is the wild part: I can use ChatGPT or Claude to design, build, test, prepare the store listing, and submit builds, using my own AI plan rather than Huxly chat credits.

    Positive

    - I like that Huxly gives me a real choice of stack: React Native, Flutter, or SwiftUI. I’m not locked into one way of building the app.
    - The backend can live in a separate repo, and deploying it to Render or Railway is straightforward. I like having that separation and control.
    - The account has limited credits, which I understand given the API costs. What surprised me was MCP: I can keep building the same Huxly project from ChatGPT or Claude and use the limits I have there.
    - MCP does much more than edit code. It can work from a Figma design, run builds, send a build to TestFlight or Google Play, and test app flows by tapping through them like a user. That last part is honestly what amazed me.

    No real cons so far; Huxly feels smooth and sleek.
