The shift in recent years towards mobile and hardware-light delivery has been intentional. We believe the airport environment is moving towards a smaller hardware footprint and more flexible ways of working.     I love the modern and intuitive approach from this platform. They did break with the available industry standard and avoided creating another iteration of the known systems. Both the UI and the admin options are modern and a few steps ahead of the competition. The connectivity options are also a leap ahead in comparison to the rest.

    BermudAir has been able to grow and improve with INK Innovations products and support. INK provides flexibility for services offered in its system, ability to have access anywhere and at any time, and they continue to develop based on the airline's needs. We recently opened an airport station with no capability to have designated check-in desks; INK came back with the perfect solution of using mobile devices and this continues to be a successful addition for our performance on a full time basis.

    Negative

    The only con to mention is that more airlines are not using INK Innovation for their operation. One recommendation for the future of mobile devices would be to combine the printing of boarding passes and baggage tags to one device. This will allow the agents to better handle the phone and printing devices between two instead of three.
