Inspectlet has been a great tool that I have used to better understand how people interact with our website upon entering, it has been a reliable tool and I like that it has minor coding tools in order to implement it to our website because I am not very knowledgeable in coding and this software did not require it, and I would say it is very user-friendly. I like that the prices are reasonable and it is very affordable for us as a small business, I like that I have access to these amazing tools that help me transform my website into something that people will actually want to look at and visit and browse our products, it is a tool that has helped me understand the customer perspective and have enough analytics that allow me to have in-depth research of everything that I need to know about this area. Inspectlet is a powerful tool that keeps improving and I am happy to be using it.

Inspectlet is the best software to get insights about the visitors on our webpage. It comes with a greatly designed interface that has its tools visually available to be used and it does a great job at recording sessions. Inspectlet has allowed me to take a deeper look at how our visitors interact with our page and have detailed insights on what’s happening, what are they more interested in, what aspects of our page they are not interested, what is confusing and what is helpful; it is a very broad software that has the right tools to study all these factors very deeply to gain enough knowledge to improve our customer experience on our website. I can see things like what they interact with through clicks, movement of the mouse on the screen, and more, which is a great helpful resource as I can sort out all these individual users and study them separately and together to gain more insight.
Inspectlet has a powerful heatmap that covers everything on our page and studies where our visitors are looking, and what gains more interest to them upon entering our page, this is a great tool to understand the changes that we can do to our page in order to have more people successfully buy one of our products or sign to our newsletter, we can know if our products gain enough interest to them and create a well organized and thoughtful campaign in order to improve, thanks to this software’s analytics. Another aspect that I also like about Inspectlet is the fact that I have the power to test different versions of mockups for our page to see if they will do well or bad based on the past insights that I get from the screen recordings and the heatmaps, I can easily study everything and create reports that will help me understand if the changes being made will actually work the way I want them to or not and if not, what we can do to actually make something that will improve our customer experience.

The lack of a permanent cloud saving option for screen recordings is very prominent on Inspectlet, the sessions can only be saved for a period of time and they will be deleted, which is honestly not a bad thing, but it’s also not a good thing if I want to gain access to past recordings in order to understand past behaviors, but I can’t because they are not saved automatically and permanently. I have also experienced many bugs while using this software, for example, I tend to experience bugs while watching recorded sessions, some of the sessions aren’t recorded very well so it creates missing information that is prevalent for us, or sometimes while sorting out the recorded sessions, it won’t actually show the filtered list and I have to try again. Another thing that has happened a few times while using this software is that the main page will take longer time than usual to load, and it is a bit annoying as I want a fast reliable software. Inspectlet is a great software that has the right tools to gain access to many important insights in our business, but it’s nowhere near perfect and it is still improving its tools.

It offers filter like duration of visit, visiting a specific page, segregating new V/S old customers. The heat map functionality basically provides the analytics of cursor movement, page scroll and the clicks on pages. It supports split testing which makes it very easy to analyse different models and their effectiveness. Form analytics is a great feature offered by inspectlet which let you know how much time the user take to enter the data in any field. Time every user took to enter the data in field it is called as hesitation time and that can help you analyse how easily your user base is going to provide the data in that field. It can help you to redesign the contact form based on the hesitation time.
