Intego ONE is a Mac-focused security and performance suite that combines antivirus, firewall, VPN, and optimization capabilities in one application. Its real-time antivirus continuously monitors the system for malware such as viruses, ransomware, and spyware. Users can choose between quick scans and full system scans depending on how thoroughly they want to inspect their Mac. Suspicious files can be quarantined so they remain isolated while the user decides whether to remove or restore them. Intego ONE also supports malware remediation and can scan external storage devices and USB drives for potential threats. The built-in firewall allows users to define connection rules, block unwanted traffic, and review how applications are communicating over the network. Intego VPN encrypts internet traffic and masks the user’s IP address to support more private browsing and online activity. SmartClean adds system maintenance features that remove junk files, recover storage space, and help improve performance. The suite brings these capabilities together through a centralized dashboard and ONE Scan workflow for reviewing security and optimization issues. Intego ONE is designed specifically for macOS and supports Macs running macOS 12.4 or later on Intel or Apple Silicon processors. The software requires at least 8 GB of RAM and 2 GB of available storage, with 16 GB of memory recommended for best performance.
