What is Jabali?

Jabali.ai is the foremost generative AI platform revolutionizing video game development by enabling anyone to create and publish games without writing code. Users simply input a text prompt, and within five minutes, Jabali.ai generates complete levels, game logic, art, and music, making it faster and easier than traditional engines like Unity or Unreal or AI tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney. The platform offers a multi-channel experience via its Discord bot, mobile application, and browser-based editor, facilitating rapid prototyping, asset creation, and instant publishing with a single click. AI-powered editing tools allow creators to refine every element—from characters and sprites to background art and soundtrack—by tweaking natural language prompts. For deeper customization, users can upload their own images, music, and custom knowledge bases to incorporate personalized content seamlessly. Jabali.ai is backed by a $5 million seed round and designed to serve a broad audience including indie game developers, educators, hobbyists, and studios looking to accelerate production. The no-code interface lets beginners build fully functional games easily, while low-code options support exporting and professional enhancements. The platform’s prompt-to-play feature has empowered users to create imaginative games, such as haunted mansions ruled by ghosts, in just minutes. With its blend of accessibility, speed, and power, Jabali.ai is setting a new standard in democratizing game development. It offers a transformative approach that removes technical barriers and fosters creativity across skill levels.

    Blind and deaf

    Summary

As a baseline metric, I requested it created a Poppy Playtime clone. Here was an excerpt from my prompt:

"Can you please make a copy of Poppy Playtime? Please make a first person WASD+mouse game. If you will help me, this is what I would like: A main menu for selecting different chapters (we will only focus on Chapter 1 for this prompt) A non copyright infringing name..."

And I got a rendering of a flat purple square, and a black one, and told it was a game. No matter how many times I ask for him to correct his mistakes, Jabali will not. It is not a matter of refusal or denial, but a lack of knowledge of what and how to do the task.

Please note that the same prompt was given to Base44, Rosebud AI, MeDo and Replit, and they all preformed better by a landslide. They could all create full games, that worked and could be played, and all except Replit could make a 'winnable' game. Rosebud AI's was simple, but existent.

I am thoroughly displeased with Jabali.

If you are looking for an AI that can make games, go with Base44 or MeDo.

    Positive

    -The colour scheme
    -The logo

    Negative

-Jabali does not understand what it is doing
-Jabali does not listen to input
-Jabali needs constant nudging, and cannot complete a large task on it's own, instead splitting it into 3 separate ones, all needing guidance from the user
-Jabali speaks so confidently about a black and a purple box as a full 3D first person game
-Jabali does not work as intended
    -Jabali has made me upset
