    JotForm is much more than a form tool. eCommerce, advanced boolean logic and branching are excellent. And it embeds beautifully as an html object in existing websites.

    Positive

    One good example is a sophisticated Thanksgiving dinner order form we built for a local restaurant. There were 9 options of entrees, sides and deserts and it had to be easy to use for customers who's average age is 65+. It was a huge success for the restaurant and super easy to use for the customer!

    The only thing I don't like about JotForm is the frightening alien cat-like avatar!

    Summary

    Because Jotform doesn't require Salesforce integration and can be a completely standalone product, I would recommend it to anyone, especially small businesses on a budget, who need to get a form up and working fast.

    Positive

    Compared to other forms and form builders, Jotform is WAY easier to use. They make building forms very simple and if you want to design them to fit your brand... also very easy. I'd say they are like Canva for forms. The biggest pro though is that their forms actually work and so far without fail.

    The only con I've seen so far is integrating with Salesforce. We're actively working with JotForm to figure this out, but it seems to be more of a salesforce issue than Jotform. The only thing that would've been helpful is a heads up about how the salesforce integration needs earlier in the process. I didn't find out until I built my form and then tried to connect it that I found an issue.

    JotForm has taken webforms to the next level with the large of preformatted templates and highly configurable form elements. You can add an "Address" element without having to add each line. The collected data can easily be synced to 3rd party databases. The large number of community and 3rd party widgets has really extended Jotform's use.

    JotForm has a high number of preformatted templates and highly configurable form elements. The predesigned color schemes are great, but can be highly customized to match your branding. The HIPAA security and data encryption mean that Jotform can be used to collect Protected Health Information (PHI) and personal information like Tax ID numbers securely.

    Jotform just launched a new product which may resolve my primary con: Limited formatting of the notification email information. We wanted to exclude blank fields. This was not possible last time I checked a couple of months ago.
