Very happy with Lunacy so far. I've yet to use advanced features like components but overall so far I'm more than satisfied.

Love the fact it's a native app. It performs better than Penpot and even Figma. Lots of features available for free!

Zooming in and out with the scroll wheel causes visual distortions.

This is literally great, I am making my own full emoji set rn, and it is sooooooooo incredibly easy!

This software can make whatever you want, there are no limits.

I mean like, they don't really have any kind of chart support, so yeah.

It's a really great program with tons of features and AI integrations, I really can't believe it's free but it easily rivals the likes of Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape.

Literally, everything, especially that it's available for Linux and not just Windows and Mac. It's a great app! I also love the free publish-to-web feature!

It doesn't have the feature that Adobe Illustrator has to move object by reference point, but aside from that there are none.

It's an ideal open-source software. Easy to use, not burdening my laptop's system, and it is equipped with many features, like the icons and styles set. Very recommended.

Lunacy is easy to navigate and use. I run the software using Windows 7 and it's still smooth sailing :)

Rarely, there's some bug (usually from the recent update) that affected the whole canvas of Lunacy. But after changing to another version (either the older one right before or waiting for the newer one to come out), it works well again. Thank you.

I have yet to delve into the program but it seems very modern and well done. Well integrated and focuses on the essentials but in a complete way.

I'm still studying the great tutorial but the program looks excellent. I have tried it on Windows and Linux.

It would be great for Android too. It would be possible to use with pencil.

I used mostly Sketch app. This one is great, or ever better for several reasons.

Everything is perfect. Very professional, it offers a great user experience.

I recommend this app for designers or for those who are at the beginning. I think there is no need for watching tutorials as You go step by step through each button and menu to see their functionality.

HTML Preview is an excellent feature that I have no see anywhere.
There is a response for every subject I am interested in,
An important one is that I have icons and illustrations for free, and I love this.

I have no cons to mention. There would have been one, but I managed to solve.

A great app, especially if you can't afford a Mac and you need to work with Sketch files.
Might need some polishing but overall very easy to use and bug free.

I like the fact that you can use it on Windows and the transition from Sketch to Lunacy is seamless.

The zoom command sometimes is sketchy, for example you press to zoom in and it zooms out to 10%.
Sometimes a file can't be opened.

Really fun to use, I find myself liking it and maybe I will use it full time from now. There's a lot of functionality that xd has and the dark theme is just a must.

Easy to pick up and learn. Fun opening tutorial. I don't have a lot of experience with other software, but for a free tool I highly recommend giving it a try. I was able to create a simple splash page and thumbnail for my youtube channel within a few hours. Layers and grouping are easy, and gradients are intuitive and more customizable than I expected.

The layers can be drag and drop arranged and renamed easily.
Nice selection of stock icons to use for free as long as you cite the source.

Some options are harder to find(Like flip vertical/horizontal) and the web help sections seems to be for older versions.
I wish the vertex curve handles could go down to single handle mode.

Amazing for a first time using graphic design, incredibly easy to use and entertaining. DYI vibes. Amazing product for first timers and can be really immersive, even friends recommend this app.

Intro tutorial, easy to use, vast amount of items and customization. Great features that make it easy to immerse yourself without having to think too much about what you are making, just let your mind run wild. For first timers in design it makes the job so easy.

Some video tutorials for specific tools would be good and necessary.

I use frequently Figma and this is a great tool for free.
The interface is clean and easy to use.
All the items has their icon and all the tools are easy to access them.

We can work locally with files created from Figma, also we can create easy and professional designs with pre designed templates, and template parts.

Some time is non stable and we need to restart the program, in linux version if you crashed the program try to open the last file and continue crashing.

If it would be open source, I would make me a tattoo on my left cheek. Providing such an awesome and stable tool for free is very much appreciated. Thank you for being a good player.

The usability is excellent. The performance is top-notch. This already sounds like a bought vote but it is:
As an old PS7 user I do not have to remember anything. Shortcuts are superb. The aligning is.... what I always wanted.
Shows CSS-Code.
Imports pictures and icons from icons8.
Does not connect to the internet
It's so freaking fast.

The UI on the left is too big.
It would be nice If there would be a f-key-shortcut to hide the toolbars.
I have only 1280x720 px size, but guess I'm not a designer.

I'm a bit confused as to how I just luckily stumbled across this instead of it being recommended or seen advertised.

Took minutes to get a handle on the UI, for once I didn't end up back at the tutorial looking for answers.
I could gush over this for days, the authors of this deserve a big round of applause.

Ive had some bugs, that were promptly managed by support.
Full Disclosure my package dependency trees prolly missing a few branches or at least crossing branches threw a mix of cross-distro bloat packages my late nights tend to land me experimenting with, Its a miracle anything really works at all..

A really cool tool for fast design with possibility to create good assets and export them into ico, svg, png, jpg.

In the last version running on Mac sometimes it use to crash.
Improve Collaboration on same file.

This is probably the best tool out there for UI design and prototyping. While it lacks some features, it is definitely the best to prototype your UI.

It's free.
It's feature-rich.
It's easy to grasp.
It is a reasonable software, you do not fight with its logic.

It takes too long on launch on Linux desktop.
The documentation is not clear.
There's no Flutter or React export. It is just for prototyping.

Kudos to the Lunacy team for making this software available for free. It's a high-quality professional app and runs smoothly on multiple OSes and devices. I have had a great experience overall but would love to see some raster editing/effects capabilities.

Absolutely the kind of software I have been looking for.

All is perfect.

I started to use this app about a year ago and I didn't expect this app to be as great as it turned out to be.

Functionality is great, has a lot of built in assets ,easy to use, has collaborative features to let group of people work on a single project.

There is some little bugs that are annoying, but not critical at all.
