Good for beginners, or if you don't have access to a full featured digital audio workstation

- there are plenty of tutorials for how to create certain common effects
- the selection of instrument types is pretty diverseNegativeIf you want specific genres of music, Magix sells those under different add on licenses. For example, there's the Magix Music Maker Hip Hop edition , another for 80s style music, EDM, and trap beats. You can try them out via the free trial, so that's nice...but still, if you're paying for the Magix Music Maker it feels bad to need to pay to access "special editions"
