What is Massdriver?
At Massdriver, our philosophy centers around prevention rather than permission, allowing operations teams to encode their knowledge and the organization's essential requirements into pre-approved infrastructure modules via user-friendly Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Helm, or OpenTofu. Each module integrates policy, security, and cost controls, effectively transforming unrefined configurations into operational software components that facilitate seamless multi-cloud deployments across platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes.
By consolidating provisioning, secrets management, and role-based access control (RBAC), Massdriver minimizes operational overhead and simultaneously empowers developers to visualize and deploy resources without delays or obstacles. Our integrated monitoring, alerting, and metrics retention capabilities enhance system reliability, reducing downtime and speeding up incident resolution, which ultimately boosts return on investment through early issue identification and optimized expenditure.
Say goodbye to the complexities of fragile pipelines—our ephemeral CI/CD automatically initiates based on the specific tools utilized in each module. Experience accelerated and secure scaling with no limits on projects or cloud accounts while maintaining compliance throughout the entire process. Massdriver—where speed is the default setting and safety is a fundamental design principle, ensuring your operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Great DevOps tool that helps me save a lot of time
Date: Dec 29 2023SummaryMassdriver is a must for small teams that don’t have the resource for a dedicated DevOps team as it significantly simplifies and improves their deployment processes. It is also a great tool for bigger teams as it follows best practices when provisioning infrastructure and modernises processes by using Infrastructure as a Code.
PositiveMassdriver helped us to significantly improve our infrastructure and DevOps processes. We managed to migrate from a simple docker containers setup to a fully fledged Kubernetes clusters with automated deployments and infrastructure analytics.
It has enabled our team to deploy various new services within minutes that would have otherwise taken us days to get familiar with.
I really like that I can easily see the cost of each service I have provisioned, split by project and deployment environment. This feature has helped us save almost 25% of our monthly cloud costs.NegativeThe team is doing a great job so far at accepting feedback from customers and addresses issues promptly.

Making DevOps Accessible and fun
Date: Dec 23 2023SummaryIt is an amazing experience building a Microservice base cloud infrastructure with it, as it handles huge amounts of the configuration work in the background (while still allowing all the customizations for advanced users or corner cases) and allows one to keep an overview of the project.
Also makes it a lot simpler to explain the architecture to team members as it is visualized in the canvas.
Have already recommended it to a bunch of other startups to help them improve their workflow.Positive- Easily visualizes the entire cloud structure
- Connecting MicroServices and Cloud Components easy with UI based connections
- CI/CD integration with their custom actions is super easy to set up
- Best Support I have ever seen
- Cloud Cost summaries in the Canvas
- Built-in best practices and compliance
- Clone environments for easy testing and deploymentNegativeAs it is a product in development not all Azure resources are covered yet, but the team is always eager to include requested features and packages.
