Worst experience ever and horrible customer service.Can not talking to a live person and the responses via email are generic. If you have to send or receive money, use a reliable source

There are no Pros. Steer clear from this app, scam artist is what Zuckerberg is! A multi billion dollar company and they have no customer support but AI.

Have used this service several times with no issues. All of a sudden they want me to verify my identity. I did what they requested and received an email from the Facebook compliance team saying they confirmed my verification 3bdays later. Day 5 after several calls and email, I still haven't received the 1000 my son sent me! TIME to notify the attorneys General office!

Any and all sites who use meta pay need to discontinue use and this site needs to be shut down. No security measures that actually benefit the user are put into use, no way to track or verify payments made on your card through another user etc. Do not put your information into this site anywhere!!!

Absolutely nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing good comes from using Meta Pay anywhere and needs to be removed.

Second time within a month that my debit card has been hacked and used fraudulently through some form of meta pay charge. This time for almost $500.

Worst experience ever. Do not trust them with your money. They will rip you off and lie about fixing the issue. I still have not been refunded back.

There is not any Pros to this service. Do NOT USE META PAY. They will take your money and hold onto it for… Well I still don’t have my money back after weeks of waiting. I verified my ID then held my money for over. Week now when they said it would only take 20 minutes to verify. I haven’t receive my money yet.

They are thieves and probably accruing interest from holding people’s money and refusing to release it! This company has kept money from me for weeks now. Their support team probably consists of one person, covering the entire US, working for his mother’s basement!! Completely dishonest business. After weeks, THEY ARE STILL HOLDING/STEALING MY MONEY!!!

Initially it was easy to use. However, looks can be deceiving!!! I thought it was great the first few times of using it. It will all change though. Even if you’re sending or receiving money from the same person! They have even started screwing things up with my brothers account.

My brother and I have used this service multiple times without issues. Then, out of the blue, they decided they needed to verify my identity for $170.00 payment. I completed everything requested. A week later, after multiple phone calls, I received a message stating everything was successfully verified. A week after that message, and more phone calls, they still will not release the money.
Their response time and communication is HORRIBLE!! The only number you can call does nothing except open a case.

Stole my money, it says processing for 5 days already!!! Complete scam!!!

Absolutely nothing. Do not use this product at all for any reason unless you like losing your money.

They canceled the payment from the sender without warning. I updated the debit card I had on file but because the payment went through to the original card, they told me I was just out of luck and they canceled the payment. Customer service was worthless; "Megan" took 5+ minutes to respond to every message and offered me no helpful information whatsoever. Don't use this platform, now I'm just out $18 and billionaire-owned Facebook says "not my problem"

Customer service is a joke don't waste your time.

None literally anything else would be better. 0/10 if I could give customer service a lower score I would.

Multiple problems:
Random receive times up to 28 days after transactions.
Verification issues that never resolved.

Well presented website appears easy to use. Website makes promises and cannot back them up. Meta Pay fronts for scam companies.

Meta pay appeared to legitimize on line purchases. Meta did not deliver what they promised on their website. They did not track purchases and maintain a history, like the website claims. It is hard to reach customer service. They are happy to take your money quickly. Meta pay is linked with fraud companies. Do not believe their well presented website and information. They appear legitimate but cannot back it

Overall experience is Meta pay sucks. There is not even a phone number to call. You have to do everything via email which takes days. I plan on letting everyone know how crappy these people are.

Nothing. They allow fraud to continue through their pay system. They claim they are protecting privacy. They did not protect my privacy when they allowed fraudulent charges on my card.

Someone used my credit card to make fraudulent payments through Meta pay. They have refused to work with me or the police to try to catch the thieves. They figure everything is OK as long as you get your money back. Guess what? IT IS NOT!! By not providing the necessary information to help police trace the charges they are condoning credit card fraud, and letting thieves know it is okay to steal from people.

I'll never buy anything through Meta/Facebook Payments again! Ever!!!! I do not recommend anyone to buy through Meta/Facebook Payments.

Nothing at all! I don't think Meta/Facebook Payments is reliable. I wonder whether they'll refund the money I paid for an in-game item, but haven't received it so far!!!! They say the purchase was NOT complete, but my credit card says THE OPPOSITE: I have to pay for something I DO NOT HAVE.

Last Friday June 2nd, I purchased an in-game item from Facebook and it was complete. Facebook Payments confirmed it( I've got a receipt), but I didn't get what I had bought. Since Facebook Payments is Meta Payments, I don't understand why Meta specialists didn't help me at once. Instead, they asked me to wait for 72 hours, so that they could check the issue out. How come? To my mind, Meta/Facebook Payments didn't repass the purchase to Big Viking, which is responsible for the game, and now I have to wait longer to have my money back. At least, the specialist told me so. Otherwise, I'll file a lawsuit against Meta/Facebook Payments Inc.! I've got enough proof to do it. Besides, the purchase is in my credit card. Shame on you, Meta/Facebook Payments!!!!!!

Nothing. This company is the most incompetent company I've ever experienced. Terrible Terrible Terrible.

*Their system would not allow me to remove former cards.
*After confirming to send a payment to my PayPal card, they instead sent it to a CashApp card I attempted to remove.
*Its been over 48 hours and I've yet to receive any money.
*It took me 4 attempts to reach a live agent who said they could fix things for me then all of a sudden I had another agent who couldn't do anything but send me to a supervisor who would likely reach me by the end of the day.
*My child needed medicine 2 days ago. That's why I had the money transferred 2 days ago. And they want to make me wait another 24 hours.
*Terrible website, doesn't function properly.
*Agents don't respond worth a and barely Comprehend English.
*Incompetent and should not be allowed to handle the public's finances.

Very easy to use obviously. At least for criminals who want to steal your money. I hope whoever used Meta Pay to steal my money was stupid enough to use an account that can be traced back to them personally, so they can be charged accordingly.

Someone used Meta Pay to charge or transfer money out of my Cash App account through multiple transactions. Thankfully Cash App stopped further transactions due to suspicious activity and sent me a text stating this and asked if I made those transactions. When I told them "no", they took me directly to a page where I canceled my Cash App card (which I had not lost) and ordered a new one. Lesson: Meta Pay accounts can be set up by anyone pretending to be whoever. That seems like a perfect way for cyber criminals to hide their identity, steal people's money, and get away with it.

Sent a friend payment of forty dollars. Was charged twice for one transaction and even though hers didn't go through, Isabel from live chat accused me of making the mistake. Also claims they cannot refund my money. Gave me a link for receiving party to use to fix problem and it's just an unavailable page! Her end shows she's waiting on me and mine says waiting on receiver! And I'm out eighty dollars You're welcome Meta Pay!

Only thing good about this is it's free and usually speedy. Sometimes it does not go through immediately but most of the time it does.

Live chat customer service is very poor. Rude people. They ask if there's anything else they can assist you with and when you reply "yes" they do not respond!

Will never use them again. Now that i have found out there is no customer service or support for this product i will never use it again the only pro was the convenience, and they have also managed to destroy that aspect.

Nothing used all the time until recently and found out their support is non-existent. worst experience I have ever had with a support team. they have all the answers ready and spew them out with well rehearsed lines while never addressing your problem. if a product does not have proper support it is useless.

A payment shows pending and they say you don't have a payment method on file when you have used the same payment method for two years. It will let you send money but not receive it, I sat on their chat help from 4 in the afternoon until someone finally answered the online chaat 2am, at 4pm the chat stated an agent had joined the chat. They have canned answers for everything and don;t even look at the transaction you are contacting them about. They told me a payment was over seven days old and sent back to the sender when the payment was just send the previous day. They blocked me from their online chat because I questioned what they were telling me, then closed my account for fraud activity after I tried to do what they told me and put on another payment method.

It was the worst experience that I have had with customer services. Y'all really need to get phone numbers that can be called because all y’all auto bot and representatives can say is it’s not they problem didn’t even try to fix it sorry I will continue to write reviews until I can’t anymore.

There is no actual phone number to call, the supervisors don’t know how to answer questions, they can only send you a automated response which is said there is no way I should be still waiting on my money and y’all keep saying to call my bank when y’all the problem as they stated and I as I can tell I will never refer anyone to y’all and once I get my money I will never use y’all again and to top it all off y’all decided to not answer my chat anymore with this statement escalated and ec'd again - DO NOT ENGAGE per previous agent that’s not cool y’all can say that but can’t tell me where my money is that sad and I keep asking why my decline date keeps changing all they could do is send me a auto response.

Worked well when it was Facebook Pay but quit working when changed to Meta Pay. Guess Meta doesn't really care about those trying to use this app.

There are absolutely no pros since being changed to Meta Pay. Nothing works when trying to pay or request. Support was worthless.

Used to work well, but now it will not let me pay or request payment. Technical support was worthless. Has become completely useless since being changed to Meta Pay. Had to choose how often I use product. Used to use it every day but it has now become unusable.

Overall, this payment feature allows for a quick way to make purchases and even make advertising products for customers more enticing by being able to offer an immediate and secure payment option.

With Facebook continuously expanding and more products and companies being advertised online, this payment option to buy products directly off of the site is very convenient.

Sometimes I am advertised products that don't coincide with my preferences, they are just assumed by the algorithm.
