I like Azure since they offer a lot of available locations that other cloud providers don't. It delivers features needed for microservices that are available and very easy to integrate. The same applications can be developed and deployed seamlessly.

There is room for improvement in Azure's Cognitive Services, including using the most common templates. The cost of such an efficient cloud infrastructure could be a little higher, but that is the price you pay for such excellent services.

This program allows us to properly build, develop and manage applications based on its global data network. It gives us the necessary tools to develop both applications and software for computers or mobile devices. Counting with implementation, collaboration and complete development management to cover all the details involved in these procedures.

While the projects are in the development phase where any error is significantly important the application does not provide access control functions to the developer platform. Due to programming errors we have lost progress and the application does not offer an integrated restore or backup. Also, it does not have a data modeling section.

Microsoft Azure is our to go tool when it comes to creating remote desktops and the tool makes working remotely seamless. It is reliable and never lags especially with good network.

- Definitely requires a decent level of IT expertise to set up. If you don't have that, you'll be wasting time in training.

Overall Microsoft Azure is a recommended cloud infrastructure. It is great for companies already in the Microsoft ecosystem and also a good choice for others who are looking for cloud migration.

Microsoft Azure is a infrastructure as a service and is the default choice if looking to migrate application running on Windows server to cloud but it is more than just that. It provides a host of other services and supports Linux and container of you choice. The management interface is quite great and is welcoming for new users. High Scalability, reliability and availability make Azure a great choice.

Pricing is a factor in which Azure needs to be more competitive in order to compete with similar services.

A very poor way to go for any nonprofit unless they are loaded with money (are there such things?). Not a viable service at all. Less than halfway through our first year on Azure, we now have to leave it. That is not what any nonprofit wants to have to do.

The interface was fabulous compared, for example, to AWS. Much easier for a non-technical person to look through. A lot of online documentation that was very user-centric.

Azure was a dreadful mistake for a small nonprofit. Microsoft proudly gave us an allowance of credits that would renew annually; USD3500. And that was kind. But the viability of it stopped on that first day.

Doing nothing but having an empty, unconfigured SQL database started - not used, just started ready to want to use - in just 4 months of the first 12 months, we had consumed the entire credit allowance.

There was no human help to get things done, so this is not friendly for a startup. You need to really know everything like a DevOps knows before you start.

This is not a solution for a nonprofit needing to actually do anything, and with limited technical people.

I can definitely see why people who are already using Azure for their cloud hosted solutions will also use Azure for its chatbots, NLP, image recognition, and other AI/ML functionalities etc. too.

Normally, if you wanted to train a neural network from scratch, you'd have to first get ahold of a large, well-labeled dataset, split it into test, validation, and training sets, train your model on the training set, compare it to the result you get when you run the model on the other sets, do some hyperparameter tuning and correct for overfitting etc... super involved and kinda messy. Azure's already trained models for most common use-cases and you don't even need to know how it works.

The drag and drop interface isn't completely intuitive. I was following the tutorial for some of them and had to try a second time (which arrow goes where etc) before getting it to work. Still not too bad.

Overall Microsoft Azure is a good solution for small business setup over cloud computing , but it may not be a cost effective solution for many startup businesses.

The high end virtual machines are very costly and there are also data and bandwidth limits for users.

Overall Microsoft Azure is good cloud computing service for new users as it provides a handful free trial and detailed guides for cloud configurations and setup.

Microsoft Azure is the easiest to deploy cloud computing service with lot of configuration options and in house cloud applications to work on. The free version and free trials availability is another plus with Microsoft Azure for small testing of applications and making mind for upgrading to paid services as per your need and configurations.

Paid services are not much cost effective and the cloud data limits ends more quickly than expectations.
