I really do not have much I do not like about Microsoft Edge.

I think it works pretty well. I haven’t had any reason to install any other browser as of yet. I think it was an improvement over the first iteration of Edge, because there were some compatibility issues that lingered, and the information security team at my previous job would simply just not sign off on it as “secure”. I think that might have been because the web development team did not really want to code for that rendering engine, but I would only be speculating if that was the case. I use the Chromium based Edge both on my windows pc and on my Macbook, and I really have not run into any issues with it just far.

I’ve never been a fan of the way any Chromium based browser renders webpages, so by extension, i’m not a fan of the new Edge browser. The effort made to distinguish it from, well, chrome has been disappointingly minimal; it is, by appearance, chrome with a different logo and extra addons. A byproduct of the unfortunate, almost defeatist, direction the company has chosen to take I am writing this answer based on my personal experience of using Edge and I found Edge performs faster than chrome in terms of less memory occupancy. Moreover Edge is crashing very frequently when I am using it and Microsoft has a long way to go.

But Chrome is still better due to its simple design and user friendliness, of course slows down your system like never before.

Excellent user interface. I love the minimalistic and simplistic approach Microsoft has adopted in the design. The bookmarking, save as pdf features are extremely useful. Syncing with Microsoft account gives you great adaptable features, as well as promises privacy. I love the reading lists feature, and the filters in downloaded files. It also consumes less memory comparatively.
