The new version of Photos is absolutely horrible
Date: Nov 03 2023SummaryI usually don't have to process my photos very much, but this new update makes it take twice as long. When you're processing a couple thousand photos from an event, it way too time consuming and not fun anymore.
PositiveSome aspects are easy to use, and quick, which is what I need when processing many photos. The adjustments are a nice feature, as well as the blur background. The markup feature is helpful, when it works.
NegativeIt takes me twice as long to process photos with the new update. The original Photos allowed you to save and it would just automatically save it followed by a number, such as (2). Now, you have to click on a save button, then type the (2) yourself. Also after the most recent update, every time I save a photo and try to scroll up one photo to the original, it takes me all the way back to the first photo in the folder. I may have to scroll through hundreds of photos to get back to it, or close it and find where I left off. It sucks. I may just start processing in Photoshop.....
