What is Mimecast Engage?
Even with a robust email security system in place, cybercriminals may still seek to breach your email network. A closer look at the most prevalent cyberattacks reveals a recurring issue: user-induced errors. Studies show that human error is responsible for more than 90% of security breaches. If your employees are not equipped to handle potential cyber threats, it starkly highlights your organization's susceptibility.
The success of your security initiatives fundamentally hinges on your team members. However, mitigating human risk poses a significant challenge for security professionals, as statistics indicate that 68% of breaches are attributed to human actions. To effectively reform your approach to managing human risk, consider integrating Mimecast Engage, a cutting-edge tool for security awareness that operates within Mimecast's Human Risk Management Platform. This innovative solution leverages risk indicators and behavioral analytics to deliver customized training and timely interventions for each employee when they need it most. By taking a proactive stance on these risks, organizations can cultivate a safer work environment, thereby significantly diminishing the chances of security breaches occurring. Additionally, fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility among employees is essential in strengthening the overall security posture of the organization.

Date: Dec 28 2022SummaryIf I could use a poo emoji it would be too generous. Overall - please see the comments above - if you don't get the impression, you'll probably enjoy this course.
PositiveSo basic a child could understand it.
NegativeIf you have the slightest bit of common sense and are computer literate this course is not for you.

Not even a child would find the training videos to be humorous. They are painful to watch, I'd rather push toothpicks under my fingernails and then set them alight than watch this garbage. -

Engages with staff
Date: Aug 29 2021SummaryWe have been using the Mimecast Security Awareness Training for a while and we've noticed a big increase in our staff's security posture.
The videos are fun and are only about 2-3 minutes. There is a question plus some feedback and the whole process is less than 5 minutes.
We have it scheduled for 6 videos a year and if people don't complete each module then their access is restricted (which you have to do yourself). You can easily identify those people from the 'watchlist' - and they get targeted emails.
When new employees start, they are automatically sent the previously released videos so they get up to speed pretty quickly and you don't miss out on anybody.
Having Mimecast integrate with Active Directory for SSO is a winner as we found this helped people more easily conduct their training.
The dashboard is excellent and gives you some really good analytics. You can drill down on users - both good and bad, along with responses and get a grading on each person and the company as a whole.
The only gripe I have is that I'd like the module queues to be a little more customisable, but that is fairly minor. I'd also like some posters included so you can pin them up around the offices.
Once you set it up, depending on how you want to manage the system, it really is set and forget.PositiveThe training videos are quick and fun.
Easy to setup with lots of options to configure things like emails, users, etc.
Great statistics.
Phishing training is highly customisable.NegativeA bit more flexibility with the training video queue would be handy.
