Problems
Date: Feb 04 2026SummaryMy experience with the Miter dashboard has been extremely disappointing. The reports almost never work the way they are supposed to, which makes routine payroll and compliance tasks take far longer than they should. What’s even worse is the decline in customer support. There used to be a helpful live chat, but now you’re forced to submit a ticket and wait days for someone to respond. And when a reply finally comes, it’s almost always the same generic message: “I will have to escalate this to our engineers.”
Nothing ever seems to get resolved on the first try, the follow‑through is inconsistent, and basic features break without any urgency from the support team to fix them. For a platform that claims to streamline operations, it’s become the opposite — slow, frustrating, and unreliable. I would not recommend Miter in its current state.PositiveMiter allows companies to draw virtual boundaries around jobsites, ensuring employees can only clock in once they physically arrive at the correct location. This helps prevent time theft, buddy punching, and inaccurate attendance logs.
NegativeMost critically, the reports rarely work as expected—they fail to load, don’t export correctly, or return inconsistent results. This isn’t just a one‑off glitch; other users also describe the system as buggy and unreliable in routine use, which mirrors our experience.

When things break, getting help is extremely difficult. Miter no longer offers the responsive live chat we used to rely on; instead, we’re forced to open a ticket and wait days for a reply—unacceptable when payroll deadlines are on the line. In our case, the follow‑up almost always says, “We’ll have to escalate this to our engineers,” and then we sit in limbo without resolution. Public reviews likewise report poor responsiveness and ongoing issues that don’t get fixed promptly, reinforcing that our support experience isn’t isolated.
Bottom line: Between reporting that doesn’t work as advertised, slow and largely unhelpful support, and persistent bugs that erode trust, Miter creates more work than it saves. Until the company stabilizes reporting and delivers truly responsive support, I can’t recommend it for teams that depend on accurate, timely payroll and audit‑ready reporting
