Platinum?
Updated: Apr 07 2022SummaryOverall experience has been mixed. While the product does get the job done, it leaves you wanting and expecting more from an enterprise solution.
Edit: Once I submitted this review (I got further access here) I noticed almost all of the good reviews of Nlyte were compensated for their review. That is ridiculous. I am very likely going to bring this up to their product team and ask where my compensation is for a "real honest review".PositiveNEO has ability to poll modbus or any protocol out of the box. Both NEO/NAO utilize SQL backend, which after doing some digging can be quite beneficial. The cost of this DCIM tool seems to be far cheaper than others.
NegativeCustomer support is not great, despite all the reviews I see on here. The support guys are professional and knowledgeable, but their mgmt staff and developers are not on the same page. We quite often reach out to the sales or customer support reps, and do not hear from them for months. The front end to both apps, its quite dated. Its not customizable nor is it easy to navigate if you haven't spent much time getting used to it. The SQL backend, while nice - the product does not offer good reporting out-of-the-box and customers basically need to scour the database and build their own. The two programs are not as well integrated as they advertise (NEO/NAO). Both applications are not capable of true HA, or the ability to pass traffic between each other through a load balancer, that handles certificates. It seems the SSL compatibility could use a bit more development in both apps. Deploying both these apps is a monumental task, and very clunky. One production instance in a medium sized enterprise environment may have 12+ servers supporting the two apps. The biggest con, is the amount of time it takes to do things in the app. Lots of clicking, lots of repetitive steps.

Nlyte for DCIM in Data Centers
Date: Jun 24 2021SummaryThe team we are working with at Nlyte are very professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate their patience and knowledge. The software is only partially implemented in our DCs but I can see the benefits already.
PositiveThis DCIM tool has many features that we are currently using in our DCs and some features that we are in the process of implementing. I like the Asset Management part of NAO for keeping track of assets and where they are located in the DC.
NegativeThis software is a bit difficult to implement if you do no have up to date data about your environment. If you do not have accurate asset and physical site info you need to be very detailed in obtaining it. This takes a lot of time and energy. Might be best to pay Nlyte to come in and do all that for you if you can afford it.

Best in the market!
Date: Mar 25 2021SummaryExperience is good so far. Its fast and has all the options that i need to look for an asset. Reports are great.
PositiveProbably one of the best tool in market! Great interface and easy to operate. As a front end user, its makes my job easy to keep asset information in details with all the information's.
NegativeNlyte need to make sure they don't breach the security. As a front end user I don't have option to reset my password. At least user should have access to reset their password or option to set password at their first time login.

Horrible
Date: Aug 02 2019SummaryThe software is not made for users or technicians. It looks good on the surface but is a horrible and time consuming tool. I would use Itracks anytime. No unnecessary graphics, thank you. You can see the complete patch of a cable. It is logical build up and it takes me only a third of the time compared to Nlyte
PositiveNot much good can be said about the design. Fancy pictures is the best part if that is what you are looking for.
NegativeUser interface is poor design. You can only see a single patch at a time.

User friendliness is no where. Connecting multiple cables will have you look up the same machine over and over again. The software simply resets constantly and temporary lookup disappears and can not be safe. You have to, illogically, look up the opposite side of a patch to connect. You don't look for the patch connection in the cabinet you want to use but have loo up the opposite side of the patch in order to find your connection
