Made a right call to choose OctaTrader instead of MT5 that I wanted to try at a time. I still remember tho how easy it was to set up, and it took me like under 10 minutes to answer the questions ,and I though it's just for the info, but then space appeared on right and I started getting insights about all the currencies I choose and styles that are interesting for me as well, like support and resistance

Features are the biggest advantage of Octa, like AI that helps you detect patterns and octa vision that analyzes your whole history or a single trade to give you proper recommendations to improve.

One big disadvantage is that leverage on some assets is limited, it's only okay for forex, but on stocks and crypto, not much.

More than 2 years have been spent trading with this broker, and during this period I've been always pleased.
I would like to leave my octa trading app review in particular. I chose it because to me it was very user-friendly, the app is not so memory consuming. it has amazing built in tool, AI pattern recognition. Basically what it does it does detect patterns. When I trade I of course analyze charts myself to detect patterns, but quite often the AI tool does it better than me. For example a month ago on a intraday chart it showed me support and resistance levels on eur/usd, and trading a bounce from the support made me bucks, ngl. Imho, it is a tool that deserves attention most definitely.

There are a number of things I like here, if to go one by one then:
-different platforms to choose, the one I like the most is OctaTrader
-sufficient number of trading instruments
-fast feedback from customer support
-attractive conditions in terms of swaps and spreads

No big issues that would bother me here, but I think adding more stocks would be nice.

Once I registered account, the process btw was easy and hassle free, I opted for their app as I wanted to explore it. I tested the AI tool on some assets, mainly FX pairs and some stocks - results were good. Combined with my own pattern recognition and this AI - i have more confidence in support and resistance lines.

When I first discovered the broker I paid attention to the numbers related to the trust:
-lots of accounts have been opened that trade with the broker, in millions terms
-different International awards...
This meant that the company has been legit and doing business for some time. It earned my trust as well.
Another thing is apart from having the main MetaTrader platforms , they have their own proprietary trading platform, and possible to trade from web and mobile app...
But the real game changer was the introduction of AI into the app - the tool that is capable of automatically detecting patterns.

I cant say major things deserver improvement here, however, the CS needs maybe a different approach overall. I mean the support chat on the website might be glitchy, but sometimes I might blame my internet connection, internet providers nowadays are messy.

It has been designed in a way that is easy to use, the free trial is also a great learning experience and I'd recommend to anyone.

The cost of trading here is quite steep might be a discouragement for new or beginners

Despite this mini nitpick, trading with Octa could be considered a solid experience. It cost me nothing for open forex positions on the familiar MT5 platform. At any rate, they had a variety in almost everything.

Major benefit trading with octa was their cost of trading. Those mere spreads, hopefully I traded only majors and of course swap-free accounts by default. There was some room for flexible trading.

Lack of some payment methods. I like crypto and e-wallets but traditional methods would be nice too. No bank wire in my country.

These all only small features of the broker. It was lovely that they didn’t charge more than fair costs. No swaps, no additional free. Spreads are the only thing I paid there. Timely withdrawals also accounted for my trust in octa. The transparent broker.

If talking about something precise, I’d name two things: octrader platform and support agents. The first one is about comfort and ease of trading. AI recognizes support and resistance nicely. Support is instant and friendly, their responses never been rude or late.

Other platforms, Metatraders seemed to be outdated. Copy trading, not so many traders, I mean worthy traders to follow.

Reliable daily use. Been using during free trial and it holds up well for copy trades and fast orders.

Execution is tight, mobile app is light, and alerts work – even when I’m off the app.

Design’s kinda meh and could be easier on the eyes.

I’ve been trading here for more than 2 years, but if I’m not mistaken AI chart feature was added half a year ago but since then a lot of traders took full advantage of using it in real practice.

Tell me whatever you want but I think this is the best tool I’ve ever used in my trading career. I don’t have to analyze all assets on my own, with that AI tool I save so much time. For your information, I tested it multiple times and using swing-positional strategies suit perfectly taking into account what chart patterns and setups AI gives.

I wish they would add something new, probably AI take profits and stop-losses. If they managed to create an AI chart tool, I believe they will be able to create something better.

The platform is rather unique, and took a bit of getting used to. Not every idea works, and I think they need to add more indicators or features, if they don't want to copy TradingView inside of it like everybody else seems to do. I respect the effort, and for what it is, it did its job well for me. But I would really like to continue to see improvements.

pending orders are easy to set up;
some features I didnt see elsewhere, like the signals provided and the ai assistant that teaches me;
looks decent, visually, blue and white always pleasant.
good pricing, cheap trades and no swaps.

cluttered if I use 2-3 indicators. Especially on M1-M5, it's just hard to see the actual chart;
not enough customization. I have 2-monitor setup, the Octa trader just doesn't work for it.

It has been good really. A new experience using a custom app of a broker. I used the MT4 in the past and I found it a lot more complex than using this right now.

- Design of the trading app.
- Spaces; a feature on the app.
- The inbuiilt economic calendar.
- The fact that I can make all my transactions and perform all operations from within the app.

- Not as many instruments are available to me compared to when I use the MT5 of the broker.

I am working with the Octa broker for a couple of months and so far I am satisfied with everything from the platform's performance to pricing and instruments for analysis!!
Ain't gonna lie they are... wizards at providing trading services, idk how to call them. Metatrader allows you to do the magic if you want. Not only manual trading, but automated as well.

There is a choice of trading platforms and even their proprietary engine is here.
Also, I like the leverage mechanism here, you know, when it varies depending on the asset class!

Oh, no, guys I can't specify any of serious drawbacks

Yea as you can guess, I go with stocks. I am pretty happy that I've found Octa, they got arguably the best conditions for stock trading!
A clear advantage is 1:40 leverage, the most I've ever seen in some places was like 1:10, not more. But there, the leverage is insane!
Also, no commissions not for only putting trades, but also holding overnight. This is a nice thing to do really.

Good selection of stocks
Nice platforms, versatile and comfortable
Cool user experience in both site and client area

Educational materials are limited, I'd appreciate more webinars

I'm a quite boring trader, I think, and I don't do many wild trades or risky things with my deposits. But I think OctaFX can make things a bit more fun even for "play it safe" men like me.

They do trade & win scheme, where if you join it and just trade normally, You can win. And prizes are like smartwatches and Macbooks.

Some risks are still present, forex trading is always associated with increased risk

Good that I choose my own leverage when trading cryptocurrencies and it help me learn how trading works.

The selection wide enough, traders can choose what they like and there no limit, MT4, MT5 or OctaTrader.

Seems like OctaTrader only for mobile devices and for pc's or macs its only supported in web browser.

Most likely, many traders who are aware of Octa broker also know that this broker provides a choice of 3 software options for trading on financial markets.
Octatrader platform caught my attention. It has excellent characteristics and I like how it functions. 10 out of 10

I'm 100% sure that the main advantage of Octatrader platform software is that it is fully configured to apply broker's trading conditions.
That is, this is the tool that considers all features of a brokerage company

I think platform has excellent technical characteristics, but I think design is not perfect.
Although this is just my feeling and maybe other traders don't agree with me

November finally sent me over the edge to write this review. Had leveraged some cryptos + majors, and the moves were wild. Even my 0.01 lot trades ended up bringing $200-$500 in profit, per one. About half triggered the S/L but the rest were still enough to be extremly profitable in November.
Been using the product for over two years, and they continue to improve it, new features on the website, especially in trader, almost every 2-3 month + they are adding assets constantly. I think the product is great. If they continue it how its going currently, I'm sure they will be one of the top5 brokers worldwide before 2030.

Pretty much zero swaps even for crypto, held my position for weeks, paid nothing, got the profit.
Had trading not just BTC, but XRP and LTC and ADA, EVERYTHING that pumped last month, some of them up to 170%. I was leveraged on that too, crazy.
Good leverage, and amazing platform for trading in general.

They don't explain their platform much at all, had to figure eveyrhing out for myself, like even setting sl/tp, its non-standard. Had to learn by trying.
The Octatrader is decent, but charts are hard to see. The scaling is what's wrong, it doesn't work properly, doesn't enhance. The only reason I use MT5 to spot my trades. Otherwise Octatrader is fine (the indicator amount is small, but I don't use other ones anyway).

I makes me made when you have a problem and support like ignores or gives you a robot with fake responses. But OctaFX support is very helping and is there 24/7 for supporting. I have colleague who uses support in another language, so i know they are available in other languages.

Helpful support that cares of me literally every time I really need someones help. Ive never seen better.

I am not sure about amount of available languages but hmmm.

You think that when you deposit money there could be some problem, but OctaFX has been secure when i use it. For around one year now I made hundreds of deposits and withdrawals, and everything goes smooth. It's so hard to trade in general, so when the platform like OctaFX is working well, its much easier for me.

I like the way it works for me. With platform it’s much easier to trade. And I dare I will never be able to trade without it.

So I don’t really find any cons to stop using this.

Trading is fast and that is so important. The market can go up or down fast and if it takes forever to trade, you can easily lose. But OctaFX does trades very quickly, and the spreads are low. I've have good success with them.

They provide a lot of tools to me so its one of the best ways to get new experience and learn about everything.

I don't see any reasonable cons. still think that everything works good as for me.
