Worst program I have ever used

    Date: Mar 14 2023
    Summary

What an awful program. Do not use this program unless you are absolutely certain you have institutional access to continue its use. Even then, I would not recommend using this program in an institution. Save your time and use an Adobe product.

    Positive

I do not have any pros to list for this product. It is one of the worst products I have ever had the disservice of even attempting to do a free trial for. If I could rate it zero stars or even somewhere in the negatives, I most certainly would.

    Negative

This program deletes random chunks of work from the fillable portions of PDFs. It does not allow individuals to pay for its use but does allow individuals to use the free trial version, immediately downgrading individuals as soon as the free trial period has ended. You then lose all ability to manipulate PDFs outside of highlighting, which is almost entirely unnecessary in regards to PDF editing. Even during the free trial, many of the features were incredibly glitchy - the program would allow me to insert text where I wanted to place it, then after I clicked away from the text box, the text would be sent to a random place in the document or disappear altogether. Text boxes would often duplicate or even triple themselves, causing a strange bold-type appearance to about half of the text in my document. OrbitNote actually deleted three months worth of work from a PDF I was actively using.
