Was impressed by the Driver Updater performance - scan was quick, new drivers installed with no extra effort, plus the system was checked and some additional tweaks offered. It took a minute to find where installed drivers were listed though, beside this I’m happy.

Updated drivers.

I'm not a computer tech by any means. I was having trouble with my Memory Integrity being/staying off, and unable to switch on. I created a Restore Point on my own, and then tried what Microsoft recommended (of course it was the normal unhelpful advice to basically find a conflicting/bad driver, but never tells you how to find it/do it). I was not able to find anything obvious. I Googled articles and tried many things including Windows updates, looking for the bad/conflicting drivers, etc. Somewhere along the way an article said I should consider a company like Outbyte to update drivers, etc. I paid for the Driver Updater and PC Repair, and followed the instructions, and it did its thing. After the updates were complete and my computer rebooted, I got the dreaded Blue Screen that would NOT allow me to get back into my computer. For HOURS I tried everything, including using their Restore Points, removing the updates, etc but could NOT get back in, no matter what I tried. After I used their first Restore Point, my initial Restore Point I'd created didn't even show up as an option. I tried another Restore Point they created, but it did not work. I did not see any phone option to speak with anyone at Outbyte (and did not have the time to send them a message and wait who knows how long for a response). I was finally out of options due to time constraints, and ended up having to reinstall Windows. I lost 5 windows, each full of working tabs, and all my computer settings, etc. This has caused me to waste HOURS of my time (I was in the middle of an online class with a deadline), and this all was a MAJOR headache.

Appeared easy enough, their tech deptartment did reply to another question via email within a few hours. The pricing was OK after I initially balked and found out their pricing, and then they offered something like 50% off.

It screwed my computer up and I had to reinstall Windows.

Very fast and polite work that now means i can get back to my studies hassle free and from the comfort of my own room.

Simon fixed my issue in 8 mins, and i could see everything that he was doing on my computer, which for a non tech person was very cool.

I currently have nothing to report in terms on cons.

I was very satisfied with the entire program, loved it.

Overall a great program.

Absolutely NOTHING. DO NOT USE THIS "DRIVER UPDATER"! WILL BRICK YOUR PC!

Just needed 2 drivers to check and be updated. After installing the recommended "Drivers", it COMPLETELY DESTROYED MY PC! Ran MalwareBytes and had to quarantine over 100 INSTANCES CAUSED BY OUTBYTE! Tried to do a system restore...Nope... it DELETED my Recovery Environment. Won't even let me make a restore disk. Clicking on anything in file explorer just freezes it.

Oh, and my PC that they destroyed was a brand new Alienware Aurora R15. The one with the Intel i9-13900KF CPU, RTX 4090, and 64 GB RAM.... yeah... I am LIVID...

Had a pleasant experience with PC Repair program. The installation was absolutely simple, the scan showed problems that I suspected I had, offered fixes and settings tweaks that I find very useful. There was still a dll problem, I contacted their support for help and they fixed it too, in a matter of some 15 minutes! Very good experience indeed.

Did not quite expect tech support to be so friendly.

Scanned data is hard to read.

The program has a lot of nice features, but their Uninstaller beats them all. Made a mistake of downloading some bundled apps that I simply couldn’t get rid of. Any attempt ended with some errors I didn’t understand. Eventually, I used the uninstalling utility - a few simple clicks and those programs were gone for good.

Very powerful tool.

I was so upset when driver Dell messed up my system and I got error notification, I couldn’t download the drivers. I couldn’t fix it myself and ordered Outbyte Driver Updater. After chatting with Simon I concluded I can allow him access to my laptop. During the remote session I watched all his actions and talked to Simon in chat.
Simon fixed my problem, it took 4 hours online with their live tech support.

The technician was great, they spent 4 hours getting my drivers up and running.

Can’t find any. Although it took a long time to get my issue fixed I can’t complain.

Awful. Three days totally wasted trying to get my PC running after the download. And after all that, the Program has been removed. If you don't have time to waste, AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

Crashed my machine. Tech support tried to help by resetting my PC on 3 different occasions. Each time the PC Crashed. The last time, tech support Alan told me they'd never encountered this problem and would give me a refund. Also, he told me to take take the PC to a repair shop where Windows could be reinstalled. It cost me $154 and now I have to reinstall all my apps and hope to get back my data. I'd say I've spent at least 5 hours on chat and the phone with this company, and would suggest that you avoid this download. It didn't speed up my PC, it destroyed it.

Good stuff, improved my startup speed, browser loading. Having a live chat is definitely a nice add-on.

Results were catastrophic. Not only did their software Not correct the one error, I got seven. Then the Outbyte tech was allowed into my computer and reloaded a new version of W-10. All the data was lost plus all the data on the backup hard disk was corrupted. The computer would no longer start. The final cost was a new computer and $2,121.11 for data recovery and countless hours to restore the computer and the repurchase of CorelDraw and the NCH editing software. At this time, the cost is going to be around $3200.00

Easy to sign up. There are no other pros in my case. Outbyte did cancel the trial subscription quickly.

It didn't work. Not the first time or the last time when my computer crashed for good.

I have an elderly PC and still manage to play games on it thanks to Outbyte.

It sucks cause can't update some drivers, just says they are outdated and goes trough the process of update but goes back to the outdated ones and keeps saying needs to update the drivers, and no way to get a refund and have to pay for customer support.

Can't find anything good to say about this that other free software already provide. I can get better performance from free software that do what they say they do.

Doesn't update all drivers and if you need support there's a fee for that also.

Glitchy with potential. There are better options out there. I was interested in shopping and comparing with what I had. Now I know.

Gets you excited with performance. The driver updates and the system repair made me smile. But it didn't last.

Fails to follow through and deliver. Carnival fun house of ads and offers does it no service. Lingers on deceptive practices.

They were able to very quickly troubleshoot and solve the driver problem that I had that was not allowing my network adapter to operate. I knew what the software needed, but was just unable to solve it without some extra help. Highly recommend this service if you are having any issues.

I don't have any complaints. The technician was able to solve my issue immediately with very little troubleshooting time.

Efficient and quick response The service was ADEQUATE. BUT UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE REPAIR. BECAUSE OF THE REASON STATED ABOVE.

The program was not able to help with my problem.
Unfortunately the error notice I keep getting is that it can not be be repaired., it needs to be updated by the computer service AOL.

An AOL error?????? Really, truly AOL is working on a repair.

Decent software, after trying several similar ones can say that this one is worth a shot.
People who complain about the program for crushing their PCs, have you heard about reading the instructions before applying anything in your system, or at least restore points?! Sorry for being harsh, but what is this notion for leaving bad reviews without even trying to understand what you are using.
In my opinion the developers did a great job, the program is fine, and I’m planning on using it further on.

Please don't put out what isn't ready to work. Don't make me type just to fill up your space. The product is amateur at best. Can't even exit the review because they ask questions which don't apply. I DO NOT USE IT as it doesn't work and you don't pay me to spend my time on the phone with you.

Who can tell since it take building a mountain to even find out how to make it work. Clearly needs a lot of work and no place to unsubscribe.

Homepage is wholly inadequate. No information on how to make it work without tons of machinations on the user's part. It is like working on software from the 80s, there is nothing easily accessible or informational in any respect to even try it.
