In terms of pros, Paubox was easy to set up. I’m not very computer literate and felt it was going to be difficult. Once I began and had amazing tech support, I was relieved by the ease of it all. I was walked through the steps and it was quick as well. Once it was set up, that was it, and no worries!

Price was a bit of an issue for me but after doing research, it turns out Paubox is competitively priced and has continuing support which makes it worth it.

I was using another encryption service before and it had so many extra steps. I switched to Paubox and it’s all done with no extra steps. Love it.

I love how Paubox takes care of protecting my e-mail but does it so seamlessly. All the work is done behind the scenes. I just send emails and they are automatically encrypted

There are no cons to using Paubox! I have been recommending it to all of my colleagues.

I love the stamp at the bottom when it sends out emails to reassure clients. Once set up, there’s nothing else you need to do. Customer service was so responsive and helpful when I had a glitch I couldn’t figure out during setup.

I couldn’t figure out some of the steps I needed to take to set it up.

My company is very pleased with the product and for a reasonable price. We had searched multiple options but really liked that the price was great in order to make us HIPAA compliant in the healthcare field. We have other companies that use other products, but it gets tedious having to sign in and authenticate all the time. Paubox secures the emails without the extra steps. In addition, companies that reply back to our emails are also automatically protected.

the service from Paubox lets us send emails without worrying about private information getting leaked. In addition, we don't have to have people receiving our emails go through additional steps in order to open the emails which is one of the best parts of using Paubox.

Nothing so far, it's easy to use for the sender and receiver.

It is very seamless to incorporate the features of Paubox into our pre-existing Google Workspace account.

The quarantine feature has been a bit difficult to access at times since it requires a different login. The cost is a bit high for our micro business, but the importance that it offers is ultimately worth it.

From the very start, Paubox has done what we've desired. The sales team didn't stress any kind of hard sell. The staff was quick to respond and the service does what we desired.

Paubox end-to-end encryption for Email is seamless and gives those with HIPAA compliant Emails peace of mind. The price is fair and the service and responsiveness is excellent. Set up takes a few minutes, but you're good to go, and it is impressive. The HITRUST CSF certified logo at the bottom is a great reassurance to your customers/clients that their information is confidential and transmitted in a HIPAA-compliant manner.

I really like Paubox's quick response time. I can send out a support ticket to them and in a matter of minutes, they are working on a response to either clarify the problem or provide a solution. In the end, the solution is provided.

Paubox has made it easy for me to send/receive HIPAA-compliant emails to my patients. On my end, I have the comfort of knowing that my email communications with my patients are protected at rest and in transit. My patients enjoy having the ability to reach me by email, rather than having to go through a patient portal for communications.

Initial setup can be a little bit tricky for people who are not tech savvy, but they have very good customer service.

I do not use their email marketing/campaign service, but only because I don't have the need to.

Occasionally quarantines emails that are legitimate. But, it's possible to white list those addresses and domains in the Admin panel.

Overall I am very happy with this product. It works in the background and I never had to learn anything new to make it work.

No cons everything works great. I am very happy with how easy it was to get going and use.

The technical support team has been great. We moved our VPS to a different platform and the tech support team was able to keep us up and running while our DNS information was updated. I feel that Paubox has met my expectations and their commitment.

The Paubox platform uses "passive" encryption. If your message is sent to an email address whose system meets the minimum security requirements the message will be sent. Since the message is encrypted at rest in our system and encrypted while transmitted, we've met the HIPAA standard for email security. The incoming filtering system is also great to avoid malware and phishing that can result in a security breach and potential HIPAA violation.

The passive encryption aspect makes this solution so much more user-friendly when exchanging data between known entities that also maintain the appropriate level of encryption.

I'd like Paubox to support Zoho and other mail services beyond Google Workspace and Office365.

Easy to setup, even had support from Paubox readily available to assist as needed. Great pricing for secure email that doesn't require the end users to jump through hoops to use.

Setting up the initial configuration took no more than 10 minutes. Easy to navigate dashboard lets me quickly verify all traffic is flowing as needed. Great price for our use case, nobody else comes close.

The plans jump from $30 a month for 10 users to $110 a month for 11 users.
A more graduated step up in pricing for users would be nice instead of this huge leap.

Perfection! The service, the product, and the ease of use are all 100%. I like it so much that I added a second account and both fit the bill.

Paubox has been a winner for me from the beginning. I wanted an easy-to-use secure encrypted email system in order to safely communicate with my clients. Having my emails encrypted whether coming or going is a great advantage. I seriously appreciate not having to go to a separate site, sign in, respond to a text, etc. I never get complaints and it's exactly what I wanted.

Sometimes my emails get sent to the client's spam box. It doesn't happen often and it's not a big problem.

We're in mortgage and need encrypted email on the Gmail private label platform without typing in security passwords every email. Paubox is the solution!

To have a team call you every quarter, listen to our business concerns and create solutions And if I have a problem, you can talk to a real person. What a concept! None at this time. They provide great customer service and I am more relaxed and have faith in their product

I have been happy with the service response, customer service, ease of use, and overall experience.

I like that I don't have to think about encryption every time I send an email; it automatically happens.

I would like there to be an option for solo practitioners. I have the smallest package, which is 3 users.

Overall, I'm very happy and I'll be happier when my website is running without messing with my email security.

I feel so much better having a secure email with the type of work that I do. It's been easy to set up and easy to use. The secure forms upload has worked great. I like the little logo at the bottom that tells clients, no one else is seeing our email.

This may not be a Paubox con:
I'm having trouble linking my website to my domain name and when I do, it starts to mess with my MX records and Paubox configuration, which is perfect, separately. I haven't figured out how to fix it yet and it may not have anything to do with Paubox. And, in all fairness, I haven't spoken to Paubox about this yet...only the website people and the domain people. This part of the review is a snapshot in time and doesn't represent what the outcome will be.
