The server provided round-the-clock assistance, was online, and I never had a downtime, so I'd say it was successful.

After using their service for five months, I can say with certainty that it was well worth the effort. This server is excellent for any SQL queries. Although slightly more expensive than the competition, the cost is still fair and the server support is excellent. Additionally, its user interface is excellent.

Similar to other MySQL database servers, Percona Server is not a well-liked option, making it occasionally challenging to persuade businesses to choose it rather than the alternatives.

MyRocks is a great storage engine and Percona offers comprehensive support and documentation for it.

Easy to install, good documentation, and supporting blog posts. It's currently the only way to use MyRocks on MySQL 8.

Fewer users than stock MySQL server, so it can be slightly harder to get community support for some edge cases.

Our company is making use of Percona Server for the administration of some databases and we have had a good experience and an excellent user experience, the response times have been satisfactory and the services show a lot of stability.

I think that maybe they could have more documentation for the end user, however it has a growing community which could improve the documentation in the near future.

Percona Server for MSQL is the only DBMS I use for all my projects and clients. It's robust, reliable, and easy to set up and maintain.

I really enjoy the tools that are provided FREE with Percona. It makes backups, resource tuning, and performance analytics easy and saves me so much time. It's also very reliable and I've never had an issue, even in the event of a crash.

I haven't revisited XtraDB Cluster, but it was a little cumbersome when I first started. But setting up a slave and falling back to it was pretty easy and straight forward.

Well documented, high quality solution. I wouldn't think of using a stock MySQL distribution. To me MySQL means Percona MySQL. When I've needed it the Percona support engineers have been subject matter experts and quickly identified our problems and provided solutions.

Required enhancements to MySQL. Even without the improvements made to MySQL distribution, the tooling around backups, replication etc is worth using over the standard distribution alone.

None that I can think of. Using Percona Server for MySQL makes it basically MySQL++.

Documentation is crystal clear.

My first experience with Percona was using the set of tools they offered for MySQL servers, after that good experience it was a no brainer to try the Percona Server. Its reliability has been unmatchable during all these years working as system administrator.

Percona Server is not a popular choice like other MySQL database servers, and sometimes is difficult to convince companies to use it instead of the others.

Percona Server for MySQL is really awesome because it is SAAS deployable, works on premises and in the cloud and also it is enterprise ready and the workload consideration is superb.
Also it has great documentation to follow

There is nothing that I dislike about the product but I hope more new features will be added soon.

This application is the best for MySQL server, you can easily manage performance and database. I recommend Percona server for MySQL.

Despite being a free and open source software, it has helped us with the implementation of some business software that we previously used with proprietary software, which has helped us to save money, in addition, Percona Server can be fully implemented in the cloud, which has been very useful for the migration of some products.

Installation and use are very easy, it is open source and I can know its development internally. The learning curve is short. Percona XtraDB cluster migrations become easy thanks to this software. It is equipped with security functions and can be used through the cloud.
We were able to achieve better performance with Percona Server, best of all, it is free.

I could only add as a disadvantage, the need to expand the documentation, and the support for large-scale applications.

It is basically amazing and I basically promote my friends and other people that I know to use this Percona server. Because I like its overall features.

I like its UI design and also like the speed of processing of database. It is server is much faster than other servers.

I don't like its customer support feature. I would like to have more improvements on it.

It was very smooth. Didn’t face any challenges installing it. The support structure was awesome. Overall, good product.

Its ease of use. Support is very handy. Pricing is reasonable. We use this for lot of transactional workloads. It is scaling well for our needs.

There isn’t any thing I didn’t like. I am sure Percona will continue to improve the pricing.

I migrated to Percona Server for MySQL from another database solution, oracle db. Percona Server for MySQL is used for my social media app. And Percona Server for MySQL is used to store, analyze, and work with user information. My aim is fast querying, easy deployment, and good support.

It can work on cloud like google cloud, in my app deployment, the queries were run very fast decreasing the runtime and increasing performance, better than oracle one in my opinion.

I did not like high pricing, maybe ui and ux improvements can be made and also this needs better docs.

Best performance with best service guaranteed in every aspects. Having a very good user interface help a lot.

Nothing to say about cons. I haven't came across any of the technical glitches or outages till now.

I used it for its free trial and I think it's an incredibly simple product to get started with. If you're learning or just finding a drop-in replacement, this is what you want.

Percona's service is incredibly intuitive and easy to work with. I have not had any downtime. Sharding is never a problem.

There is a price that is more expensive than setting up your own server....but that is a headache.
