    Summary

    I started using the program in about 2015-2016. It was a way to remove backgrounds for many of the product photos on my website. It wasn't perfect but I quickly was able to become familiar with creating a process that got the job done.
    When I went to upgrade I saw that the program was no longer stand-alone. They made it a per-image format without any major changes to the interface or the quality of the process - they say that the algorithms are always being updated but I can easily show an image processed with the stand-alone version is no worse than the new platform. They also claim that the program can't run without their servers which I would question.
    As a small business owner, this is not a platform I can recommend or support.

    I used this program from about 2015-2016 to remove backgrounds for products on my website.
    Different views - back, front, side, top, bottom - plus thumbnails and ads.
    When I first started using the program it was stand-alone. You didn't get FORCED to purchase points to process an image. When I went to upgrade about a year ago I saw that the whole points fiasco was the only solution from PhotoScissors. The interface is no different. They just forced you to pay per image to process. That's not the worst case. Let's say you purchase points to process 10,000 images. And then only process 3,000 images during the year because you got sick. Too bad for you! You will lose 7,000 points because they expire at the end of the year. They don't carry them over. I had a good familiarity with the program but cannot continue to support this process scam.
    Any business would be wise to find another solution.
    I don't work for PhotoScissors or any competing company. I am just a small business owner that can no longer support this. They tied the program to their servers to control the amount you have to spend. Really NOTHING changed in the program interface from when I started using it.

    From when I started using it to when I upgraded the program went from purchasing the program outright to now paying for each image processed PLUS buying the program. You have to purchase points and use them in a year's time or else they expire.
    As a small business, I will no longer support this program. From 2016-ish to now, the interface of the program hasn't changed. The quality of the background wasn't and still isn't perfect. So instead of improving the program they just tied it to their servers to force you into points.
    I am done with them.
