Been a user for more than a decade and PowerPoint is the default tool i sue for presentations. It is as easy as it gets and is a delight to use for creating quick or detailed presentations.

PowerPoint has ruled the world of presentations for over a decade and still does so with great authority. It offers a premium experience with the neat familiar ribbon interface, free designs, transitions and the wide range of features. Now, it can even be accessed using just a browser as a part of Microsoft 365 subscription helping in collaboration as well.

Not really a con, but i think the standalone pricing is not justified as there are a lot of free and cheaper alternatives available. But as a part of Office suite it is value for money.

Microsoft has always provided wonderful applications for every aspect of daily use and PowerPoint is also one of the best and comprehensive application for creating wonderful presentations.

PowerPoint is a wonderful application which helps us in creating beautiful, detailed and eye catching presentations based on our data input and images. It has always been very helping software to attract management through easily compiled presentations by using already available templates or creating our own.

PowerPoint has very comprehensive solutions for creating presentations without any flaws.

I love using PowerPoint. The ease of use, sleek-looking design, and ability to update quickly and easily make this product a must have.

Just like all other Microsoft products, there are too many pros to list in this post. PowerPoint is a very user friendly tool. I love using this over Keynote.

There really aren't a lot of cons with this product. I would highly recommend it.

There is no issue with power point but it's a little bit confusing for new users.

Inserting of excel files and converting them to be viewable directly in the presentation is little techy, there should be some consideration to make this process easier.

The standalone PowerPoint software is very expensive. Although it also comes in bundles with other Office apps, the standalone price should be decreased.

Use this EVERY day for my job. Presenting to groups, using for meeting presentations, even dropping a photo in to remove the background, add arrows and other simple tasks then exporting as a PDF or JPEG. Very handy tool for many applications.

Ubiquitous for presenting. Used for large groups and for small meetings alike. Really great editing tools also for day to day things such as quick and easy photo editing and adding graphics to a drawing.

Once you get up into the really big PPTs (1GB presentations with hundreds of slides) it starts being a resource hog on your computer and can even occasionally crash. Otherwise it is extremely reliable.

Presentations were made easy and effective with less effort just loved all its features and functions.

I felt very easy to operate and I gave special effects to many of my presentations through animations.

When I load up too many slides at the same time, performance significantly slowed down and the program crashed.

Overall it's good software for presenting data.
It provides different criteria for solving the problems.

Pros of Microsoft PowerPoint are:

- Easy to understand and proper way of communicating.
- There are a lot of other functions too which help.

There are very few cons.

If price is not your concern, or your firm already has license of MS Office, then there is no reason to look for any alternative. You already have the best.

4. Plethora of formats to export (you can export your Presentation as video too!)

1. Pricey. Competition offers similar features are very low price.
2. Updates can be bulky, and occasionally buggy.
3. Only Office 365 supports version updates. Standalone software gets only performance fixes.

My experience with PowerPoint is almost 5 years now. It always helps me in putting my view in an easily consumable format.

For any enterprise, PowerPoint is very helpful because of the cost which is free. It is truly our one and only solution that we can use at scale, and we are incredibly happy with it both as individual users and as a company.

- It is very expensive, if you are looking for cheaper versions to make presentations there are other cheaper alternatives out there that does the same job.
- Sometimes it can be hard to understand the different functions it provides, as it provides vast functions for you to make your presentation.

PowerPoint is a wonderful tool for presenting. It is my personal favorite as it has everything (and more) needed to put together a good presentation.

I wish collaboration was easier and I wish I didn't get prompted to use their design options so often.
