What is PreSonus Capture?

Specifically designed for StudioLive® mixers, PreSonus Capture™ offers an instant setup and includes all necessary features to ensure that your live multitrack recording is as smooth as your performance. With functionalities like automated Virtual Soundcheck, one-click recording, and a secure record lock, this software stands out for its simplicity in live recording. The two-way communication established with StudioLive mixers creates a unique one-to-one workflow that significantly improves the creation of high-quality live recordings. Understanding that handling front-of-house sound can be overwhelming, especially with the additional task of recording, PreSonus has crafted Capture to be user-friendly. By simply pressing "Record Now," you can start capturing every input along with a tailored mix of your preference through Capture. Additionally, you can set predefined fields for Artist Name and Venue in your Capture settings, ensuring that your new session is automatically organized and named in a date and time-based folder structure, which removes the frustration of searching through your hard drive for lost sessions. This efficient system not only saves valuable time but also allows you to concentrate on providing an outstanding performance while leaving the technical details to Capture. As a result, artists can focus entirely on their artistry without being distracted by the complexities of live recording.
