    I Really Wouldn't Know

    Date: May 15 2025
    Summary

I manage an 8,000-seat outdoor amphitheater, and my team has been actively researching venue and booking management software to streamline our operations. We were initially drawn to Prism.fm by the promise of an easy-to-schedule demo. What followed was one of the most unresponsive and baffling customer experiences I’ve encountered.

I reached out through their website to request a demo—nothing. Weeks went by with no response. Assuming my request had slipped through the cracks, I followed up. Again, silence. Eventually, I received an email stating that “research” had determined I wasn’t affiliated with a venue, so they wouldn’t be able to assist. I’m the General Manager. Of a major venue. I have no idea what “research” they did, but it clearly didn’t involve talking to me. I replied immediately to correct the mistake—again, no response.

Despite all that, I gave them one final chance. I requested a demo for a third time. That was weeks ago. And once again, not a single reply.

At this point, I have to assume one of two things: either Prism.fm is no longer functioning as a business, or they simply don’t care about new business. In either case, we’ve decided to move forward with Opendate instead.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but Prism.fm’s near-total lack of communication pushed me to make an exception. If anyone from their team reads this, consider it a heads-up: your radio silence is costing you opportunities. You certainly lost ours.
