ShareWatcher answers two questions about a Windows file share: who is accessing it, and what just happened to its files. New, changed and deleted files are reported as they happen with Live Folder Monitoring, or on a schedule with polled monitoring, which also watches FTP servers and catches files that arrived while ShareWatcher was off. Every event can send an email, play a sound, write to the Windows event log or run a command. Cadence Watcher watches for silence instead: a folder that should be filling has stopped. Actions process new files on arrival, including a QuickMove action that sorts them by rule. The Server licence records who created, changed or deleted each file (Auditing) and runs ShareWatcher as a Windows service; the Enterprise licence monitors other Windows computers remotely.
