    Did nothing for me

    Date: Sep 15 2025
    Summary

Pretty awful. I thought I was getting a professional tool, and all I got was a resume organizer with some barely functioning AI tools that you really shouldn't even be using in the first place, if you actually want a job.

    Positive

It organized my resume into something more modern looking than what I had. That's not saying a lot, since my resume was still in a pretty old format.

    Negative

Where to start? First of all, when editing your resume, it constantly updates the preview, which then triggers page loads which interrupt you while you're still typing. So you have to update the resume very slowly if you want your changes to not get interrupted or move what you are typing to the beginning of the text box randomly. Second, the boost feature did nothing. I paid for this tool. For 3 months. Because I was told it could take a while before getting interest in your resume. I have less than 10 downloads of my resume, and those are only the downloads that I have made. That means in 3 months, I've had no hits on my resume whatsoever. A big BIG feature of this site was that you could boost your resume, and have it receive attention from recruiters. That is simply false, in my experience. Don't pay for it. From what I can tell, that feature doesn't work, or doesn't exist.
Third, the AI features are bad. Resume submission tools now flag for AI use. So why have AI assist you in writing your resume? It seems like a terrible idea, counterintuitive to what you SHOULD be doing when writing a resume. Write something that makes sense but is also real. Also, the AI writing tool would write too much in areas that would not call for it, making the resume seem disorganized. The AI tools were also not personalized, and would give me suggestions for a summarized description for someone looking to get a job as a nurse. I'm a programmer, I do not need that.
