You get home from a wedding with eight hundred raw files and one evening to give them. This is the app for that evening. Open the folder and CoolCroco starts reading all of it behind you, keeping what it reads. Once it has caught up, stepping between pictures costs nothing whichever way you travel, so two frames shot a second apart can be compared properly instead of approximately. Every decision is a single key. One sends a picture to an Approved folder, another to Rejected, and an undo brings it straight back. Nothing is erased: the file simply moves into a subfolder next to the pictures that stayed, with its contents untouched. Ratings from one to five travel onward to Lightroom, Bridge or Capture One as XMP. Raw files open from Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Leica, Hasselblad and Phase One, as do iPhone HEIC and ordinary JPEG, PNG, TIFF and WebP.
