I decided to try Renderforest, hoping to use an innovative service with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The service doesn’t function as AI at all—it simply finds the closest matching images or videos based on your query. This is nothing more than a basic search engine wrapped in an appealing marketing package.

When I realized that the service didn’t live up to its promises, I requested a refund. However, Renderforest refused, claiming that I had created two videos, which supposedly justified the $39 charge. It’s worth noting that these videos were created while I was still trying to understand how the service worked, and the results were entirely unsatisfactory.

I find this policy unfair, and the service itself feels deceptive. Renderforest is absolutely not worth the cost, even with discounts. I would strongly advise against wasting your time or money on it.

If you’re looking for a genuine, high-quality tool with real AI capabilities, Renderforest is definitely not the right choice. This service leaves a bitter taste and a sense of being scammed.

I don't even know who it can be useful for, because those videos or previews are the same and have been used by everyone. If you want to stand out, then Renderforest won't help you.

Very useful app, only thing is the pricing. For initial startups 3-6 months of free trial will help them to grow.

It's very user friendly, as well as the lot of options in template. Multiple size and quality as needs.

High rendering time, no built-in images as search.

I had a good overall experience, and will continue to use it. There are some good things about this app, and a few negative things that can be improved later.

I liked everything they advertised. The videos are nice, and it’s not that difficult to use. I rated it 5 stars because they are pioneers in this space, but I think they actually deserve 4.

There are only a few things I don’t like. The video sometimes takes a really long time to be created, and you can’t create more than one simultaneously.

This is a great product for those who are looking at trying to use these type of services, that do not break the pocket book. If you are a beginner great, and more advance might feel limited. But you have to start somewhere. We use this for our project and have had little issues, but once we opened a ticket we were taken care of.

I like the easy to use templates. For those who are starting out, this is easy to use and I also like the feature to get those to help you on your website. You don't use up a license for some from the team to help with website. This is a plus when dealing with websites in multi-languages.

Mockups are great when you are trying to see how your brand or logo will look like. Gives your audience a realistic look of what they might be getting. Not only that, but the team is able to see if it will work or not.

They have suggestions to help improve their services, so it's imperative to inquire if you are trying to see improvement.

Limited on templates, but ok for those who are learning. For website, limited on the amount of languages to use, looking forward to when this is lifted. Far as for other services, limited but are doable for learners. As you start to get more creative you may find that you are limited.

Tickets opened could have a quicker turnaround time when escalated.

I am very satisfied with my experience with Renderforest and I will recommend to everyone looking for some creative ideas.

A lot of creativity when it comes to logos and video animation, and the fact that users can customize their videos and logo. I was looking all over the place but could not find a website with such features.

I think the only bad thing about this website is the price.

I had a great experience and was amazed at how easy it was to use. Also, the ability to save your work.

The Renderforest platform produces great quality work for content creators. You work can look outstanding and professional, especially for logos.

I would like to be better able to add audio to various aspects of a project and to see more elements for creating videos. As well as more props, characters, positions etc. I would also like more color options for backgrounds.

The templates are easy to work with, they are beautiful and make me look like I know what I'm doing!

I love Renderforest because there are a ton of templates to choose from that are high quality and very easy to work with. I love that I can create a project that looks like it took days to create but it really was only a couple of minutes. I love using it for logo animation to enhance a brand I am working with. This is an amazing addition to any digital marketing portfolio.

I don't have any cons to using Renderforest. It is an excellent tool.

So far, so good... Limited use for the moment - I have only used the whiteboard explainer functionality - but very pleased.

I like "whiteboard explainers," in general, and I like Renderforest because it gives me a wider range of characters. If you use these types of tools, it's easy to be frustrated by using the same set of character illustrations each time you create a presentation.

I have no complaints. My use of Renderforest is currently limited to the whiteboard explainer, but I'm sure I'll be using it for other things eventually.

Overall this is a great product, especially for beginners who just want a simple motion graphic design for their logo

An overall good experience and I would recommend the program to others, with the caveat that there is a lack of black and brown characters. I am a student at an HBCU so this will turn a lot of students off.

-Lack of diversity in characters (my current experience is only with whiteboard) is very disappointing and may cause me not to renew
-I haven't been able to find a way to upload my own photo to a scene (I would like to add a page a the end with photos of my group members

Absolutely Amazing program, especially for us marketing content specialists. It offers more ways to add services to our service list. Our clients do not have long of a wait for their content due to the quick download option.

I started using Renderforest about two weeks ago, and my clients love when I can animate logos for them. The quality of the videos is absolutely the best. Downloads are quick, and this program is the best asset to my company!

Overall I would rate my experience as fairly positive. We plan to keep our subscription for a couple more months.

The designs are clean, and the platform is fairly easy to use. A good alternative to PlaceIt.net, but would point to the cons outweighing the pros.

Not enough design options especially with modern style phone designs and transparent backgrounds. Not as competitive as PlaceIt.net regarding the monthly subscription.

Renderforest has many features for artists and entrepreneurs alike. It's really a one-stop shop for helping build an online presence. It has all the base setup tools to create nice websites and graphics for any design needs.

Not a big fan of the pricing but it is understandable for the many features and web tools provided. If it were not for all the different tools and services id have the biggest issues with price as I don't use all the features but at least it's good to know they are there.

No cons except the app has less than the online version. Both are great though

We are very happy with the program so far and have just recently started putting the series on Linkedin. We have many more to build but the look and sound are what we were looking for and the cost is very reasonable as well.

The voice-over is exceptionally good and does not sound like it is computer-based at all. My people were amazed at this. The program itself is very easy to use and once you use it a couple of times it really becomes quite easy. I love the look and quality of the videos.

When writing the script for the voice-over and after listening to the finished product, if you want to make a change you have to retype the entire text as it is no longer there for editing. This facilitates the need for cutting and pasting (which is easily forgotten) or you will be retyping constantly. it would be nice not to have to do that. On the same subject if you were able to utilize more punctuation or something similar which would allow for voice fluctuations and easier timing of pauses etc. in the computer voice over. Another nice feature might be for checkmarks and X-Marks etc. would be to have a timing feature so as to control the text to match the voice over. I have yet to find a way to make my fonts, font size, colors or music to be set as my permanent preference when I start a new video, as we are creating a series and consistency is key. Currently, I use your available templates but I have to set them again for the next video. We also noticed that the typed text when using a text holder slide wiggles for some reason on playback, and does it consistently not a huge deal but curious as to why?

The creativity and AI tools help a lot with the brainstorming process.
The template tools and resources for video creation really help shape the content you want to produce, with a lot of different styles to choose from.

It can be a bit limiting when wanting to change specific areas of color in a logo or video when it’s not available to edit.
As well as not being able to save a website as a PDF or the extent of your ability to fully control what you’re creating.
The site can be slow sometimes when loading a variety of logo designs, but switching to my PC instead of my MacBook helped reduce that.

Experience has been great and a challenge to learn this program. Having a great time with Renderforest

All the templates are dope I’m a music artist so this really helps in promoting my music in different ways it is a game changer.
