What is SendOps?
SendOps serves as an operational management layer for Amazon SES, enhancing a powerful sending engine into an accessible tool for your entire team to use effectively.
Although SES is recognized for its dependability, cost-effectiveness, and compatibility with various AWS services, it lacks significant visibility features such as a dedicated dashboard, proactive notifications, workflows based on Git, and a way to enable access for non-technical users without compromising AWS credentials.
SendOps remedies these limitations by integrating smoothly with your existing SES setup—eliminating the need for code changes, SDK updates, or new sending pathways—while offering real-time dashboards for monitoring delivery performance, alerts for bounce and complaint rates, Git-integrated template management, and access controls that prevent the necessity of engaging with the AWS console.
Consequently, engineers are freed from the burden of monitoring CloudWatch pipelines, marketers are empowered to independently access delivery data, and your team receives immediate alerts about any spikes in bounces within a minute, rather than relying on customer reports, which fosters a more streamlined and effective operational flow.
Ultimately, this results in a more responsive and agile team, capable of addressing issues proactively and enhancing overall communication within the organization.

Best of both worlds
Date: May 12 2026SummaryThis was a great find when we wanted to use SES (because of deliverability and HA) but were worried about reputation management and potential issues with AWS team.
PositiveEasy and secure setup (Cloud Formation stacks + STS setup) which means we don't have to expose any API keys. Really good dashboard + metrics and reputation alerts.
NegativeYou still need to setup your SES account directly with AWS.
