    Disappointing outcome using the chat support, and didn't deliver the certificate updates as they promised.

    Online chat support was OK, but they wouldn't provide further help until pushed or when requested - see cons below.

    Just after receiving my Sectigo code signing certificate, I requested a reissue to change/remove my personal email address. However it never came through. After following up with support, I was informed the only option was to purchase a new certificate due to hardware key requirements and to note the price had increased significantly from $150 to around $600, plus $130 for shipping. Although SignMyCode acknowledge their mistake of not resolving the first request, they refused to provide a replacement certificate and would only offer 10-15% discount on a new order, even though their website was offering a 20% discount at the time! After many chats and emails they agreed to waive all certificate costs except for the shipping fee. Unfortunately, this still meant that my total expense would be nearly double to fix *their* mistake. Beware of promises - they may not deliver - even when they admit they are in the wrong.
