FloorRight supports the import of various file types including PDF, AutoCAD, DWF, Bitmap images, and SiteDraw. In the Commercial version of FloorRight, estimators have the capability to import multiple pages simultaneously. Following the import, they can customize the scaling for each page, ensuring accuracy for their projects. Multi-page PDFs are conveniently parsed, with each individual page allocated to its own tab for easier management. Estimators can choose to analyze each tab independently or merge all pages into a single view as per their requirements. Prior to commencing the room design process, it is essential for estimators to establish the finish schedule materials, which may include options like tile, carpet, wood, patterned materials, wall bases, or transitions. Additionally, FloorRight can produce carpet tiles in a variety of repeatable patterns, including hexagonal and herringbone designs. Notably, the program meticulously calculates the required quantities of materials, factoring in waste, to provide accurate estimates for bidding on projects. This comprehensive approach ensures that estimators are well-equipped to deliver precise bids and streamline their workflow.
