Great experience over multiple iterations over many years. Quite pleased. Very reasonable cost for the utility I get from it. Use it professionally in systems engineering and marketing use cases but also in my private life.

None I can think of. Maybe an auto-mirror of all captures to one of the public clouds. Perhaps use AI to auto-tag and organize captures / creations. Perhaps a partnership with GEN AI agent to create new images and video with ones own captures as a basis. Conversely create image or video and have it fed directly into the tool for editing. Then push that back to the AI. So ultimately a back and forth collaboration as desired. Dev could build you own AI internally or perhaps leverage a publ

Seamless integration in Windows operating system and shortkeys. Very nice annotation tool. Started to use it for screenshots, now also for education videos. Brought down my time needed to create and publish customer documentations. Screenshot library very practical and helpful.

Cannot install on more than one individual computer - even if I am the only user on each.

I've been using Snag-It for over 10 years. It has evolved in this time to be extremely powerful and easy to use. In my role as Technical Writer/Training Instructor, I use Snag-It daily to document existing functionality of software. I also use it to create mock ups for future screens in our software. I've recently taken advantage of its video recording capabilities to best demonstrate various features of our software. I recommend Snag-It to everyone!

I have been using Snagit for a good 20 years, now...I think it's been that long. Time flies when you're busy living it. I am not a graphics person. All the cool stuff graphic artists do....I'm not one of them. I have been a Snagit fan all these years because it's simple to use. This program allows me to accomplish what I need to accomplish with ease, a minimum of hassle.

I have only one whine....no drag and drop on Editor! If I could just grab the graphic and drag it into Editor, especially multiple graphics at one time, I would be SUCH a happy Snagit user!

The tool makes it easy to share a screenshot with my teammates. It helps a lot when taking screenshots. A quick and reliable way to capture and annotate screenshots.

I like the annotation and rendering part, easy to use and saves a lot of time. I like the built-in editor which makes editing easy. The directions are very easy to understand. I love the way they implemented the changes.

I wish I could just click on the icon and just drag. I would like more editing features, I should have a shortcut for everything.

I've used Snagit for many years. My company does not buy us developers utilities like Snagit so I've been paying for it my self. I've purchased the software update/support a get an improved version every year or so. I've not needed to call support so can't comment on that.
My main usage is image snap and the editor. Both work well. A newer feature (new to me) allows capture of a web page that needs to be scrolled. This worked very nicely recently to capture an article I wanted to archive.

It helped me improve my habit of taking screenshots. It makes it easy to take screenshots or screencasts. It also allows you to show coworkers how to do things quickly. It's great for grouping multiple images into an email.

I really like how easy it is to highlight specific areas of an image, allowing me to share specific images of what I'm trying to show. I love the ability to record videos and gifs, it's very lightweight and easy to use.

It is an excellent tool in every aspect, I would recommend it to anyone. There is nothing I don't like about this product.

So glad I found Snagit and all the screen shots and video help to make future projects for home and work. Well worth the money, and renew each year.

It does all the things I need to do all in one application. The maintenance program makes sure I am always up to date.

Easy to share screenshots and recordings with others, the program works very smoothly. It gives our representatives the ability to share images. The application is convenient for having my screenshots saved.

I like being able to mark screenshots as favorites so they are easier to find. Easy to take screenshots, love the ability to record videos to capture the screen. Great and fast recording features.

Sometimes the screenshot freezes in the middle of the range. It would be even better if it automatically downloaded the images, it lacks the ability to edit them after production.

It is easy to implement in a quality management system. We were able to document our processes clearly. It helps us to optimize and deliver a higher quality product. It saves me time on repetitive documentation tasks.

Video editing is great for cleaning up my videos, it's a simple tool with great features. It allows you to record your screen and add a lot of edits. It's a simple and powerful screen recording solution.

I like that the setup screen is extremely simple and intuitive. The software is intuitive and works with ease, the simple editing tools make it easier. I like that you can record exactly what you are doing.

You can't filter out some video lengths, I think that takes away from the tool a bit, but so far I haven't had any issues with the major tool.

I enjoy using it for work and personal task. It’s a great piece of software and makes a lot of things I do easier and quicker.

It’s really quick to take screenshots of exactly what you want with guides to know what will be included.
It also saves the recent screenshots, making it quick to go back and edit the screenshot for minor changes.
I often use the arrows, boxes, and text overlays to easily call things out in emails and Teams messages, as wells as to create process flow documentation

Not much comes to mind, although it might be nice to be able to expand a screenshot of part of the screen to more of the screen after the screenshot’s already been taken.

Overall, SnagIt has saved me enormous amounts of time and helped me communicate more efficiently. The scroll capture function generally works well and is really useful.

SnagIt makes it so much easier to assemble, edit and annotate screenshots that it opens a repertoire of new creative possibilities. There's lots of training resources available though most options are very self explanatory anyway.

My main comment is that I'd like to be able to add metadata to the screenshots - especially Alt Text for accessibility compliance. Likewise, it would be great if there were recommended accessibility-safe colour palettes. Finally, I haven't found a way to make SnagIt remember my default choices (fonts, colours etc) - that could be because I haven't looked hard enough yet.

I'm a daily user and love this product. There are a lot of great features and a lot of options. I would recommend this to anyone who frequently makes screen snips. Super easy and the output is so professional!

Snagit is easy to use, has great features, and is intuitive. I love the many features but the panoramic/scroll feature and the quick video creation is awesome. The markup/annotation tools are really great and make my training materials so much better.

If any... there are a lot of updates but I know those are to my benefit.
